5 Awards Conferred To Ferretti Yachts and Riva In China, Sealing Its Position As The Leader In Luxury Yachting In Asia.

The year 2020 kicked off with a sterling start for Ferretti Group, as they further stamped the seal of success for Ferretti Yachts and Riva brands in the Asian Market – by winning 5 important and prestigious accolades in China.

The conferment of the consecutive awards started with Robb Report China’s “Best of the Best” award, presented on the 27th of December 2019 to the Riva 50 Metri in the “Yacht of the Year 2019” category. This award is promoted by the Chinese edition of the exclusive lifestyle magazine, proponent of the finest in international luxury, where the selection and identification of the best products from 12 different categories of the luxury sector is carried out yearly. 

This paved way for a promising 2020, where the Ferretti Yachts 720 and Riva 90′ Argo won the “Innovation Yacht Award” and “Best Motor Yacht over 80ft” by Oceanway China Yacht Annual Awards. The awards were conferred over a Gala evening attended by over 200 renowned industry experts on the 3rd of January in Shenzhen, China, organised by Oceanway, an Asian yachting publication.

Following this, on 11th of January, and for the second year running, the prominent Chinese online luxury platform YAOK presented Ferretti Yachts with the “Best Commercial Performance of the Year in the Luxury Yacht Category” award during their eleventh edition of the YAOK Awards. This is also a testament to the shipyard’s sales performance in Asia. 

And just 2 days later on the 13th of January in Shanghai, China, Ferretti Yachts for the seventh consecutive year, received the award for “The Best Yacht Brand in 2020” presented by the Hurun Best of the Best Awards which is in its sixteenth edition. This award is the result of the Best of the Best Luxury Consumer Preference survey conducted by the renowned Chinese business and lifestyle magazine Hurun Report, which since 1999 has been ranking China’s wealthiest individuals. The survey is conducted in twenty different cities and involving over four hundred leading personalities. The survey hence plays an essential role in finding out the most successful and popular brands and the consumption habits and lifestyle trends of the most influential Chinese citizens to date. 

Winning 5 accolades back to back highlights the strength of Ferretti Group in leading a part of the luxury sector. It is especially commendable within the Asian market, where it is without a doubt strategic, but also increasingly competitive.
