Ferretti Group was the exclusive yacht manufacturer who participated at the most important import trade show in China
Ferretti Group has once again proudly represented “Made In Italy” boating, this time exclusively exhibiting excellence, innovation and style the Italian way at the inaugural China International Import Expo or CIIE.
The China International Import Expo was the first exhibition of its kind in China which was dedicated exclusively to products and services importation. The six days event (5th November until the 10th November) was co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and Shanghai’s municipal government, with the primary aim to support market liberalisation and economic globalisation.
The China International Import Expo is a marketplace of great prestige and also a unique opportunity for visibility for Ferretti Group. The Group was called to preside over an event of strategic importance for the People’s Republic of China which, as envisaged by the new course of national economic policy, is aiming at increasing domestic consumption and importing of high quality products.
The Ferretti Group booth – the exclusive yacht manufacturer amongst the exhibitors invited to the show – was housed within the impressive 700 square meter booth of Weichai Group, one of the largest Chinese industrial groups worldwide and also the majority shareholder of Ferretti Group.
Two magnificent models from two different brands of the group were on display at the Shanghai National Exhibition & Convention Centre – the Aquariva Super 33 and Ferretti Yachts 450, the latter representing the historic Group’s brand which had celebrated its 50th Anniversary this year.
“Being the only or the first in doing things is, for Ferretti Group, a pleasant best practice. This is why we are grateful to Weichai for having us alongside them, as the sole luxury yacht builder in this important event.” commented Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group. “The East is a market full of opportunities thanks to the increase of per capita income and the extraordinary growth of Chinese consumption. We are immensely happy to be in a privileged position in the challenge of conquering one of the most significant markets in the world “.
