Since 2019, FuoriConcorso has been prestigiously held at Lake Como, adding to the nearby Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este’s overall appeal as a celebration of automotive artistry and heritage. Finding its home at the Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota historic residences, it has attracted even more thousands of car collectors, industry experts and enthusiasts to these mesmerizing shores in appreciation of true beauty in mobility design.

Each year’s edition is curated specifically around a different aspect of automotive history and creativity, embodied in a truly unique line-up of iconic rare customized cars, prototypes and unreleased one-offs alike. 2025’s theme will be “Velocissimo – Italian Race Cars”, evocatively paying tribute to competition cars from what is perhaps motorsport history’s most passionate country. Maserati’s GT2 Stradale and exclusive MCXtrema will therefore fit in ideally here, representing the pinnacle of the brand’s racing derived performance DNA.

With FuoriConcorso having garnered a standout reputation in recent years thanks to its highly refined atmosphere and inimitable displays of iconic, rare cars that have often never seen before, from private collections and the archives of prestigious car manufacturers alike, this has set the perfect natural stage on which Maserati will showcase two of its most extraordinary current creations that embody an ideal combination of elegance and breathtaking performance.

Born from the creative fires of Officine Fuoriserie Maserati, the GT2 Stradale will be displayed wearing a refined “Bianco Audace” livery, representing a sporting evolution from the racetrack to the road. It is a fully street homologated and usable variant of the GT2 that brought closed-wheel racing championship victories back to the House of the Trident, balancing the iconic Maserati character traits of competitive verve and refined sophistication. It interprets the brand’s racing spirit in a manner that makes it suited for comfortable daily use, with no compromise to driving pleasure or performance; in fact it exhibits an impressive 60 kg weight reduction next to the MC20, benefiting its acceleration and handling dynamics. With its acclaimed V6 Nettuno engine producing 640 CV and making it Maserati’s most powerful combustion engined road car to date, the GT2 Stradale is capable of sprinting from rest to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds on its way to a maximum speed north of 320 km/h.

For those who prefer to do their driving at maximum race circuit pace, the Maserati MCXtrema will also be shown at FuoriConcorso in a powerfully expressive “Blu Extrema” livery. With a production run of just 62 cars, it is intended for the most discerning collectors, as well as gentleman drivers seeking the highest echelon of exhilarating track performance not limited by road or motorsport regulations.

The MCXtrema is set to most likely dominate Villa Sucota with its unique, ‘beastly’ presence, and formidable 3 liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine pushed to the limits to develop 740 CV. It truly manifests the contemporary pinnacle of Maserati performance, bringing forth the brand’s highest masteries of technical performance solutions, design creativity, aerodynamic refinement and competitive grit.
