As Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur marks its first anniversary, the hotel invites guests to embark on a month-long journey of flavour, craft, and connection with Celebrations at The Park. Taking place throughout August, this vibrant anniversary program brings together visionary chefs, award-winning mixologists, and acclaimed regional producers to celebrate the art of hospitality and the spirit of collaboration.

Over the past year, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur has established a home above the city for discerning travellers and food enthusiasts alike. Celebrations at The Park honours those connections through an extraordinary lineup of guest shifts, chef residencies, and exclusive dining experiences across the hotel’s signature venues.

Elevated Spirits & Creative Mixology

The festivities begin at Cacao Mixology & Chocolate, hosting a one-night-only guest shift with Cosmo Pony. Making a highly anticipated Kuala Lumpur debut, the acclaimed Jakarta bar, ranked No.38 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025, brings signature craft and creative storytelling to the counter.

Continuing the mixology spotlight, Backdoor Bodega, the celebrated speakeasy from George Town and the first Penang bar honoured on Asia’s 50 Best Bars list, brings a contemporary interpretation of Malaysian heritage, indigenous ingredients and regional flavours to the anniversary lineup.

At Merdeka Grill, the vibrant culinary traditions of South America come alive with the arrival of Chef Franco Canzano from Bistro M at Park Hyatt Mendoza. Available for both lunch and dinner, Chef Franco’s limited-time menus showcase Mendoza’s rich gastronomic roots, beautifully paired with fine selections from the renowned Catena Zapata winery.

The highlight of the residency culminates in Sabored de Mendoza, an immersive, single-day Champagne Brunch celebrating Argentine cuisine, world-class wines, and live performance.

A Milestone Built on Community

Our first anniversary is not simply a celebration of a milestone, but a reflection of the relationships built over the past year with guests, culinary partners, and the wider hospitality community. Celebrations at The Park brings those relationships together through a program that celebrates creativity, collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
