59M Fully Customised Project SkyFall Sold.

Heesen kicked off the Monaco Yacht Show 2019 on a high when the Dutch yard confirmed the sale of YN 19959 – Project SkyFall. There is no better way to commence the boat show season than celebrating the sale of a new custom yacht.

Project SkyFall is a 59m FDHF (Fast Displacement Hull Form) all-aluminium, fully customised motoryacht which is set for delivery in Spring of 2023. She will have a total of 22,000 horsepower feeding four water jets that will drive her at 37 knots in light load conditions – which is an impressive feat particularly when considering her significant 900GT volume. She is currently the most powerful project Heesen has created to date.

Dutch design studio Omega Architects were appointed by the Owner to design the striking profile of Project SkyFall – suitably matching and further exuding the power and speed in every detail. Even the aggressive paint scheme serves to further highlight the power and speed characteristics of Project SkyFall. The exterior cockpit includes a fishing cockpit located at the stern for her Owner, who is a keen angler.

SkyFall will be able to accommodate 10 guests across four suites on the lower deck, while the Owner has chosen the bridge deck aft for his private accommodation. A large suite facing aft opens on the private terrace equipped with a whirlpool and seating area ideal for relaxation.

The main deck of SkyFall features a conversation area and alfresco dining on the aft terrace with large sliding doors connecting the outdoors with the indoor seating area large bar, located amidships. Moving further forward is the formal dining set up which seats up to twelve guests around an elegant oval table. Further forward houses a media room featuring a cinema and a games table.

Tenders and a host of watertoys conveniently located on the fore deck, the lazarette is set as a luxurious beach club with wellness area.

Heesen operates with a bold, short-delivery programme, which is key to its commercial success. Twelve yachts are currently under construction with deliveries that span through to 2023. In addition to the semi-custom yachts built on a proven engineering platform, Heesen is registering an increasing interest in full-custom yachts. The order book includes 60m Project Falcon, due for delivery in 2021 and the mighty 80m full aluminium 29-knot Project Cosmos, scheduled for delivery in 2022. Project SkyFall is the confirmation of this trend that sees expert yachtsmen, with a clear vision of what they expect from their boat, selecting Heesen to build their unique custom yachts.
