Puteri Harbour Sets To Host The Inaugural Stylo Gentlemen’s Weekend 2018 – A Luxury Weekend Getaway Like No Other.
Mens fashion, supercars & luxury cars, amphibious planes, yachts, luxury properties, big bikes & cafe racers, cigars & parties. These are the luxury props that will be setting the tone for this coming weekend’s inaugural Stylo Gentlemen’s Weekend 2018 event at the marina of Puteri Harbour, Johor.
The first of its kind show-event combining fashion and big boys toys is organised by Stylo International in collaboration with Malaysia Fashion Week (MFW) and Maritime International Showcase Malaysia (MIS.M). Presented by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Kuala Lumpur and UEM Sunrise Berhad, the show-event promises many first in the luxury realm, at least in Malaysia and perhaps in South East Asia.
“This weekend is unique in that it features what every Gentleman is looking for and displayed in one very convenient location across from Singapore”, says Rolv Reissiger, Chairman of the STYLO Gentlemen’s Weekend during the press conference held at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Kuala Lumpur showroom.
The show-event will feature the Malaysia debut of Rolls-Royce’s Black Badge range.
“The Rolls-Royce Black Badge range is the alter ego of the brand: edgier, darker, more assertive, bolder and more powerful. Black Badge reaches out to a different type of Rolls-Royce customer. Risk takers who are affluent and highly successful, they appreciate uncompromised performance with super luxury standards of engineering and craftsmanship”, says Mr. Anas Zawawi Khalid, Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Kuala Lumpur.
Besides the many ranges of luxury labels (Princess Yachts, Ferretti Group present during the weekend, the show-event will also highlight the launch opening of the USA-based International Seakeepers Society in Puteri Harbour, which is the second opening in all of Asia after Singapore.
With celebrities and figures like James Cameron (of Titanic and Avatar), Paul Allen (co-founder of Microsoft) and Mikhail Gorbachev (former President of Soviet Union) amongst its 600 plus strong membership worldwide, the International Seakeepers Society supports marine science and conservation by utilising yachts for research, educational outreach and for deploying oceanographic instruments.
“Our foray to Johor will enable us to work closely with the Malaysian Government and private companies to protect, care and find solutions to critical ocean issues together,” says Julian Chang, Board Member and Asia President of International Seakeepers Society.
The Stylo Gentlemen’s Weekend is poised to attract thousands of visitors and aims to boost the potential and marketability of Puteri Harbour as a tourism destination.
