A Total Of 386 Metres (1,266.4 Feet) Built In Ancona Beauties Touched The Waters In The First 6 Months Of 2020 Despite Global Adversities.
As relayed by Mr. Stefano de Vivo in late April 2020 over a Zoom call during the introduction of the new Custom Line Navetta 30 project, the Custom Line craftsmen at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona – who also builds the steel and aluminium mega yachts for CRN, Riva and Pershing brands – have surged ahead when Italy reopened its economic doors early in May.
As a result of their constant commitment, meticulous attention and mastery expertise, Custom Line has achieved 11 new yachts launches in the first half of 2020, with 8 more yachts scheduled to hit the waters before the end of 2020 – this was achieved despite facing extremely challenging global adversities, which had also hit Italy the hardest. A true testament indeed to the commitment levels of Ferretti Group.
A total of 386 metres (1,266.4 feet) has touched the waters with 4 Custom Line 106′ (hulls #03 to #06), 2 Custom Line 120′ (hulls #04 to #05), 3 Custom Line Navetta 33 (hulls #11, #12 and #14), 1 Custom Line Navetta 37 (hull #09) and 1 Custom Line Navetta 42 (hull #04).
The Custom Line yard at Ancona is equipped with 5 dedicated work sheds, and it is part of the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard – a world-class naval hub spanning a total of 80,000+ square metres. It is also equipped with a private marina which extends over 23,000 square metres of water.
The yachts undergo their final fitting-out and completion work at the Custom Line docks, and is followed by testing and sea trials. During the process, each customer and their team receives personal attention throughout all phases of the project – and this starts from production and launch to delivery and beyond, with on-going after-sales support. The yard also provides dedicated offices and facilities at the disposal of captains and crew members.
As of date, Custom Line has 21 yachts under construction, and this consist of 13 in the sheds and 8 at the completion and dock testing stage prior to delivery to their owners.
