Alia Yachts Flagship Ready For Boat Show Debut At The Monaco Yacht Show 2019.

Since her launch in 2016, Alia Yachts flagship, the 60-metre luxury custom yacht Samurai has been under the radar receiving little publicity. However, come September 25th to September 28th, Samurai’s power and poise is set to woo the audiences at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019.

“We’ve been sitting on the superyacht industry’s best-kept secret for the last three years. In terms of overall design and construction quality, Samurai demonstrates what we are capable of and I’m delighted we finally have this opportunity to show her off to the yachting world.” said Alia Yachts President Gökhan Çelik.

The Alia Yachts 60-metre luxury custom yacht Samurai is the result of a collaboration between top Northern European design studios and Alia Yachts who provided their proven yacht-building capabilities. Dutch studio Omega Architects provided her the exterior styling while Van Oossanen provided naval architecture expertise. Redman Whiteley Dixon (RWD) provided the interior design input.

Samurai’s low-rise exterior profile with its bold vertical windows, elegantly arched superstructure and long aft overhangs exudes power and grace. Her sleek lines disguises a high-volume interior of 1,050GT, most of which is housed inside the hull.

The lower deck is dedicated to a spacious beach club and a gym with fold-down transom door and side platform, a tender garage with room for 2 custom tenders of up to 7m, the crew quarters, crew dinette, pro-spec gallery and the engine room.

The main deck provides accommodation for 10 guests in four cabins and a full-beam, forward-facing owner’s suite. The full height windows provides for natural light and the view of the sea for the staterooms, open=plan main salon and dining room. A stairway on the aft deck provides direct exterior access to the beach club below.

The bridge deck houses the wheelhouse and captain’s cabin as well as providing ample space for alfresco lounging with dining for a full complement of guests. It also houses a fifth guest suite, and a panoramic lounge on the open foredeck.

The interior theme by RWD is based on natural materials and neutral tones and it exhibits tasteful sophistication but also warm, welcoming and functional. The flow between flexible and airy entertainment areas enhances a kind of loft-living conviviality, while also guaranteeing privacy and intimacy when desired.

Samurai’s visual impact is matched by her performance. Powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M73L engines (2,880kW each), her patented Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) by Van Oossanen provides a top speed of 21 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,250nm at economical speeds.
