What of the new MINI JCW Pro Boost Kit? It’s basically a sporty package that reinforces the MINI Cooper S 5 Door’s 50 years of motorsports heritage.The JCW Pro Boost Kit includes includes 18″ JCW Pro Cross-Spoke 506 wheels, the JCW Pro Tuning Kit and the JCW Pro Valve Silencer System. The wheels are 1kg lighter than a conventional cast wheel while the spokes are also relief-turned for weight optimisation for improved dynamics. The Bi-Colour Cross Spoke is coated with a clear coat varnish for an eye-catching overall appearance. This offering also sees a boost to the stock engine: an increase from 192hp to 211hp. Similarly, the torque of the car now also peaks at 300Nm as compared to its original 280Nm.

Of course, with the JCW Pro Valve Silencer System and the complementing chrome tailpipe, two sound modes are part of the experience– “Sport” for the daily-grind and “Track” for when the adrenaline needs awakening. This option, means that the exhaust flap can be operated wirelessly via two clicks of the Bluetooth 4.0 controller.

The MINI JCW Pro Boost Kit offers five Signature MINI colours – Blazing Red, British Racing Green, Pepper White, White Silver, and Volcanic Orange, and retails at RM249,888.00 for the MINI Cooper S 5 Door with JCW Pro Boost Kit. The retail price of the MINI JCW Pro Boost Kit alone is RM10,000 which, includes installation, in comparison to its normal retail price estimated at RM 26,000.
