30 years. 360 months. 10,958 days. 262,800 hours. 15,768,000 minutes. These are unit expressions of time that seem incredibly long, and yet it feels like a mere blink of an eye since the day that Ferrari first presented the F50 on 9th March 1995 at that year’s Geneva Motor Show. In honour of this legendary icon’s historic 30th anniversary, the supercar manufacturer from Maranello has put together the exclusive F50 Legacy Tour 2025. From the 5th to 10th of May 2025, those who own this celebrated V12 exotic will be treated to the uniquely distinct experience of driving their supercars through the spectacular winding roads of Tuscany, the region of Italy famed for its art, culture, and breathtakingly scenic vistas.

This will be the Legacy Tour’s third edition, following on from the first iteration that celebrated the highly regarded F40 in 2023, and the second Tour in 2024 paying homage to the ‘288’ GTO which is globally recognized as Ferrari’s first supercar. 2025’s Tour started off just this past Monday from Saturnia in Tuscany, and will embark on a fittingly soulful route through the Maremma region, the hills around Siena and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines; along which the lucky F50 owners will have ample opportunities to savour their hallowed steeds’ driving dynamics. The Tour will then culminate with an official welcome for the F50s at Maranello’s Ferrari factory gates, after which they will be proudly displayed within the factory buildings and then paraded around Pista di Fiorano, gloriously bringing the F50 Legacy Tour 2025 to an unforgettable conclusion.

First presented at 1995’s Geneva Motor Show to mark Ferrari’s fiftieth anniversary two years early, the F50 still stands as a highly revered icon today for its inimitable character that embodies Ferrari’s ultimate, no holds barred spirit that drove much of its success throughout the 1990s. It was Maranello’s first true supercar to be powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine directly evolved from a Formula 1 powerplant, longitudinally mid-mounted within its carbon fiber composite monocoque chassis. The latter development was another milestone for the house of the Prancing Horse, being the highest level of road car technology transfer from contemporary Grand Prix racing technologies.

Boasting five valves per cylinder and a rousingly revvy character, the Tipo F130B V12 engine was structurally integrated as a stressed member of the chassis; while the F50 itself also benefitted from advanced aerodynamics, and a race style suspension system with horizontally mounted push-rod dampers. These elements gave it an incredibly direct driving experience and excellent handling, as close to that of a race car as they could get to at the time, that was also honed by the development inputs of Ferrari’s famed test driver Dario Benuzzi.

A removable Targa top roof brought lucky occupants even closer to the F50’s intoxicating V12 soundtrack, once it was converted to the open barchetta form. Just 349 F50s were ever produced, with the number chosen to represent “one less than the demand from its intended market”; a practice that would see Ferrari through its best years of road car production tempered with a true sense of exclusivity during Luca di Montezemolo’s leadership era.

The F50 Legacy Tour 2025 will also set the stage for Pirelli to debut a new P Zero Corsa System Collezione series of tyres conceived especially for the F50, sized 245/35 R18 front and 335/30 R18 rear. Developed on the Fiorano Circuit itself to reinforce the F50’s unique driving pleasure and dynamic prowess, the tyres for clients’ F50s participating and being showcased on this Legacy Tour are personalized with ‘Ferrari F50 Legacy Tour 2025’ sidewall logos, representing a new degree of bespoke personalization from Pirelli. More standardized versions of these tyres will also be made available for the benefit of other F50s, as part of Ferrari’s Collezione line dedicated to preserving the usability, heritage & value of their most iconic vintage and recent classic models.

Pirelli originally developed the P Zero Corsa System to be its most performance-focused road tyre range in the early 2000s, with a structure specifically designed for extraordinary high speed stability along with track optimized cornering balance. Aquaplaning is minimized by using two different tread designs on the tyres, with a directional pattern for the front wheels and an asymmetric pattern for the rear. The new Collezione series tyres are produced with modern compounds for improved reliability and consistent safety, while maintaining the same sporty performance in the F50 as the tyres of its time.
