Truly a significantly defining moment for the company, Embraer has surpassed 2,000 business jet deliveries this year. The milestone aircraft is none other than a Praetor 500, delivered to an undisclosed corporate flight department at Embraer’s state-of-the-art Melbourne, Florida Executive Jets Global Customer Center with a distinguished ceremony. As the most disruptively advanced jet in its class, it truly delivers industry leading speed, range & performance.

As the fastest and furthest-flying aircraft in the midsize segment, it’s capable of making truly non-stop flights from one corner of North America to the other, including Los Angeles to New York or Miami to Seattle. Its intercontinental range is an impressive 3,340 nautical miles (6,186 km) with four passengers & NBAA IFR Reserves on-board.

With its milestone 2,000th delivery, the company has further reaffirmed the strength of its product portfolio, its unwavering commitment to customers and the dedication of its entire team who take genuine pride in each aircraft they build. While also reinforcing Embraer’s position as a global business aviation leader, it also reflects the Praetor jet family’s popularity especially among the flight departments of large corporations; with both the Praetor 500 and 600’s disruptive technology & unmatched performance having made them the plane of choice for this key clientele segment that values their compelling blend of capabilities.

More typically found in larger jets, their remarkable tech includes full fly-by-wire control systems with active turbulence reduction, coupled to short runway performance that’s on par with smaller aircraft. Along with that best-in-class intercontinental range, both Praetors grant their operators uncompromised access to a wide variety of global destinations. As a whole, Embraer’s executive aviation business also reflects this appeal with a 14% average compound growth rate since 2002 when it delivered its first executive jet model. Just over the period of 2024, for example, an Embraer Phenom or Praetor accounted for almost one in every three jets delivered across the small & midsize cabin classes.
