As the Turkish bespoke yacht builders’ latest project, Limerence was first envisioned as a vessel that would uniquely combine the luxurious lifestyle of the finest superyachts with tough support platform operational capabilities. Yet the concept evolved as its build evolved, with Alia collaborating closely with the owner to conceive a yacht that can embark independently or in tandem with a mothership. This has resulted in the high performance adventure yacht Limerence that delivers a full spectrum of daytime excitement, before transforming into a luxe night entertainment venue on the high seas after dark.

Alia Yachts’ president Gö khan Çelik said, “It’s the special genius of this design that Limerence is at once a hugely capable standalone superyacht and a peerless support vessel brimming with toys and amenities. She represents not only the adventurous spirit of her owner, but also Alia’s full-custom building ethos. Every inch was drawn, engineered, and built from a blank page.

With Azure Yacht Design having partnered Alia for its design, Limerence makes a striking impression with sculpted blue topsides prominently contrasting the dark glazing wrapping around her bridge and main decks. Her strong explorer bow flows into an expansive aft section with tender storage, and serious aviation support facilities.

Indeed the yacht’s middle sector is visually dominated by its fully certified commercial helideck which can accommodate large helicopters including the Airbus H145 or Bell 429, with integrated bunkering even providing on-board refueling capability. This gives charter guests as much flexible scope as they want to explore remote shores, have longer stays at anchor and reduce returns to port.

Christie Yachts’ Caroline Antlett added, “Limerence is set up for serious helicopter operations. With full commercial approval and refueling capacity for multiple sorties, she unlocks completely new charter itineraries — from alpine drops to hidden jungle airstrips.”

Under the helideck, a spacious garage houses four performance tenders, including a custom Wajer 38S, 12.5 meter X-Tender, Ski Nautique GS20, and a rescue Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB). There are also 2 sailing catamarans, jetskis, foil boards, seabobs, dive scooters, 2 sailing dinghies, kite & windsurfing gear, and E-bikes, all standing ready for whichever adventurous water activities guests may choose to indulge in. A full dive center is also onboard with 10 full dive sets, and while one is not presently included, Limerence even has the capability to carry a 7-seater submersible.

Via inflatable supports and netting, her helideck can also be turned into a sports court for basketball, football, volleyball, pickleball, or even golfing and laser clay shooting. Çelik added, “The level of equipment on board is usually reserved for much larger vessels. Packing all that into a sleek 52.5 meter envelope — along with advanced jet fuel systems, anti-heeling stabilization, and launching mechanisms — was a major engineering achievement.”

Yet another side of the yacht’s character comes into play once the sun sets, with her sizable beach club becoming a candlelit waterside dining area. The helipad can be converted into a nightclub complete with professional-grade DJ and AV equipment including lighting & smoke effects; or alternatively an al fresco cinema with projector and large screen set up for a relaxing movie night beneath the stars. Part of Limerence’s original design concept, a luxurious shaded mezzanine lounge just above the bathing platform provides the perfect vantage point to unwind while observing the action.

Further delights await within the heart of Limerence itself, with an elegant and brightly inviting interior designed by Istanbul’s CT Mimarlık in close partnership with Alia’s award-winning in-house interior division itself. Evoking the homely yet characterful atmosphere of a boutique hotel, her inner spaces are defined by clean lines, high-end materials, and a focus on relaxed luxury.

Accommodations comprise a full-beam owner’s suite with a lounge area that can be converted to sleep a further pair of younger seafarers. A further 2 guest cabins are effortlessly switchable between double or twin configurations, granting charter parties great flexibility. Each of the 3 ensuite cabins boasts its own large marble bathroom with plenty of storage.

Out on the bridge deck, the welcoming salon opens out into another choice venue for al fresco dining, while the traditional main salon is replaced by a lower deck water sports room complete with coffee station and lounge seating.

Delivered earlier in 2025, Limerence can now be chartered for Mediterranean cruising via Christie Yachts; while potential winter charter locations include the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and perhaps even Costa Rica. Çelik concluded, “There’s simply nothing like her. Whether as a support vessel with the aesthetic and comfort of a superyacht, or as a standalone adventure platform, Limerence is proof of what a full-custom shipyard can achieve.”
