Benetti’s Eleventh Classic Supreme 132′ Leaves Viareggio

It’s been almost a month now since Benetti Yachts put to water the eleventh unit of the Classic Supreme 132′ in Viareggio. This fiberglass displacement yacht belongs to Class product line, which is known to combine extensive interior and exterior spaces with a superior on-board comfort.

While most of its details are still of secrecy, the main features of the code-named BS011, (40.24-meters long) are plenty of outdoor space, especially on the sun deck and upper deck, and a jacuzzi which boasts a spectacular view of the accompanying shorelines and seas, all positioned forward of the yacht’s Pilot House. In essence, the yacht has a markedly streamlined profile, while the big full-height windows on both the main and upperdecks flood the interiors with natural light, a Benetti trademark in terms of providing a luxurious feel to its boats.

The exterior design is by Stefano Righini, while the interiors are a joint effort by Benetti’s Interior Style Department and Mexican architect Ezequiel Farca. This is the architect’s fourth yacht for the shipyard. The interior layout features 5 cabins in total that can accommodate 10 guests. The owner’s cabin on the main deck is said to have a spacious entry hall and lounging area, complete with twin bathrooms. The 4 guest cabins, two with double beds and two with twin beds, are on the lower deck and all have en-suite bathrooms. Also on the lower deck, but forward and completely isolated, are quarters for 7 crew members, with 4 cabins, a galley and a dinette.

Deep in the engine room are two MTU 12V engines that propel the yacht to a maximum speed of 14.5 knots and give it a range of 3,200 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 11 knots.

Known for being a master luxury boat builder since 1873, Benetti Yachts is in fact the oldest Italian builder of motor yachts, making the yachting firm a pioneer in terms of Italian styling and construction excellence. The Italian yacht makers are bouyant that this latest Classic Supreme 132′ launch will continue to express the Italian brand’s commitment to enhancing and growing the booming luxury yachting scene, not just in Europe but also in other emerging yachting markets, particularly here in Asia.
