Newly Designed Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge Opens

Belmond recently unveiled its new-look Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge, one of three safari experiences in the heart of Botswana, in the Chobe National Park, following a full redesign. It reopens a “Timeless Explorers Lodge”, with an aim of connecting its guests even closer to nature.

Surrounded by abundant flora and fauna, the lodge includes 12 tented rooms, spa, lounge, bar, open deck with pool, firepit and wildlife viewing hide overlooking the watering hole, a first in the area. this unique viewing hide allows guests to somewhat interact with the wildlife at eye-level, giving guests a front-row seat on nature’s aura. Animals like lions, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas and antelope are among the many that gather before the area often times for a refreshing drink. Prices for the experience at Belmond’s Savute Elephant Lodge start from $970 per person, per night, based on two sharing on a fully inclusive basis.(Rate includes two daily game drives, all meals, drinks, laundry, insurance and park fees and VAT)

To celebrate the reopening of the lodge, Belmond has commissioned acclaimed wildlife photographer Stephen Tuengler to capture the playful spirit of the animals in the Savute region, one of the world’s true natural wildernesses. The very essence of Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge is to allow guests to experience timeless exploration in the heart of wild Africa, and if you need an even clearer idea of the glorious natural splendour of Africa, you need only click here, to see how our dear friend, Mr. Yusuf Hashim, frequently visits the Serengeti because of Africa’s beauty.
