Celebrating these deep-seated connections, Karnival Saya & MAGGI® recently transformed Raintree Plaza at The Exchange TRX into a bustling hub of food, music and community spirit from 17 to 20 September 2026.
Serving as a grand Malaysia Day celebration under the nationwide “Me & MAGGI® So Good Together” campaign, the four-day event kicked off with an exciting preview on 16 September as Keratapi Sarong’s surprise final stop. From there, the carnival welcomed families, food lovers, and local entrepreneurs to share meals, exchange stories and create lasting memories.
Flavours That Tell a Story
At the heart of the carnival was the Rasa-Rasa MAGGI® Food Village, where local entrepreneurs served up dishes crafted around four distinct themes:
Pilihan Kegemaran Bersama MAGGI®: Cherished, traditional dishes enhanced with each vendor’s unique touch.
Kreasi Eksklusif Bersama MAGGI®: Contemporary and unexpected culinary creations crafted exclusively for the event.
Cita Rasa Negeri Bersama MAGGI®: A tribute to authentic, regional recipes from across Malaysia’s diverse states.
Program MAGGI® Wanita Cukup Berani: A special showcase highlighting inspiring women entrepreneurs, including Ida Faizura Binti Megat Muhaiyadin (widely known as Jua of Jua’s Cook and Bake, first runner-up of Season 3).
Beyond tasting delicious food, visitors immersed themselves in interactive zones. At Kari Kegemaran Malaysia, guests put their senses to the test while discovering the 12 signature spices behind a national staple. Meanwhile, Dari Ladang ke Hidangan Keluarga put a face to local ingredients by highlighting the local farmers and communities who grow them. Over at Dapur MAGGI® Saya, home cooks gathered practical tips for preparing balanced meals, shared personal stories using the #SayaDanMAGGI hashtag, and redeemed exclusive merchandise.
A Star-Studded Gathering of Community
The festival grounds buzzed with star power as familiar personalities, including Chef Naem Ramli, Ain Edruce, Kamal Adli, Aedy Ashraf, Nabila Razali, Fiza Sabhajan, and Emily Lim, joined in the festivities. High-energy musical performances by DOLLA and Ruffedge kept spirits high, before iconic vocalists Datuk Ziana Zain and Misha Omar closed out the event with powerful, memorable shows.
