As you may have heard before, the renowned Four Seasons hospitality brand known for their iconic hotels has officially expanded to yachts. Recently, on March 22, 2026, its inaugural yacht, the Four Seasons I, embarked on its maiden voyage, marking a major new milestone for the brand. It was a move steeped in symbolism, as the yacht set sail on a lovely spring day that just happened to be the 65th anniversary of when the first Four Seasons hotel opened. The first hotel and the first yacht, debuting exactly 65 years apart; it stands as a clear and poetic tribute to the Four Seasons history.

The yacht itself is inspired by the romance of the nautical lifestyle and that quiet, calming feeling of being one with the sea. The Four Seasons I takes the highly personalised hospitality we’ve all come to expect from the Four Seasons hotels and translates it into a maritime setting. It manages to capture the intimate charm of private yachting while offering those high-end services that make the brand what it is, including exceptional culinary experiences, deep wellness offerings, and a sophisticated touch of curated art and design throughout.

The Perfect Sea Stay

the perfect sea stay at Four Seasons I

At 207 metres, the vessel has the soul of a floating residence, modernising the sleek elegance of the golden age of maritime design. It’s all about space and privacy here, with only 95 suites and a strict one-to-one guest-to-staff ratio. You won’t find any cramped interior cabins; every room is designed to frame the water. For those after the ultimate view, the 10,000-square-foot Funnel Suite at the prow offers a staggering, panoramic perspective of the ocean, while the Loft Suite features a massive aft-facing terrace made for those slow, sun-drenched mornings.

Culinary Journeys and Social Hubs

Dining is, of course, a central part of the experience. With 11 different restaurants and lounges, the options range from the freshest Mediterranean seafood to quiet, private omakase sessions. The Sedna Restaurant is particularly special, featuring a rotating residency of Michelin-starred chefs who craft exclusive tasting menus. When it’s time to unwind, social hubs like the Horizon Bar and Bar O offer elegant spaces that transition seamlessly from breezy daytime socialising to sophisticated evening cocktails.

A Sanctuary for the Senses

The focus on well-being continues at L’Oceana Spa, where treatments are built around the five elements of vitality. You can move through thermal circuits or opt for modern recovery like cryotherapy, while those who prefer a more grounded start to the day can join sunrise yoga and mindfulness sessions on the deck. Even the dining follows suit, with specialised menus designed for longevity and health.

The Marina Experience

One of the coolest features is the rare transverse marina, which opens up on both sides of the ship to give you direct access to the sea for water sports or a bit of sun-soaked lounging. Even the time spent on land is bespoke; rather than your standard excursions, a dedicated team organises adventures tailored to whatever piques your interest. In its first year alone, the yacht will visit 130 locations — from the glitz of Saint-Tropez to the quiet, hidden gems like Hydra and Montenegro.
