When the sun sets, an average timepiece tends to disappear into the dark gloom. But this is definitely not the case for the BR-X3 Night Vision from Bell & Ross, which makes a pretty dramatic entrance; especially at night. With its luminescent quality, this timepiece is more than perfectly suited for some seriously cool night missions, setting the scene for a glorious glow-in-the-dark adventure.
This launch introduces the second chapter of Bell & Ross’s brilliant BR-X3 saga, instantly propelling the line into new heights and affirming its status in the avant-garde watch world.

An Intriguing Aerial Obsession
The idea comes from rather intriguing origins. Bell & Ross, as we know, are obsessed with aviation, so this watch gets its primary inspiration from the Head-Up Displays (HUDs) found in fighter jets — which are those super clear projections pilots see at night. The genius here is that the brand basically built that incredible low-light legibility right into the watch. The result? You can perfectly tell the exact time, no matter when, day or night.

To achieve this level of toughness, the 41mm case is a robust “sandwich” of different components and materials. The main plates, for instance, are made of LUM-CAMO, a high-tech mix of carbon fibre and a special photoluminescent resin. The construction is secured by four screws held by cylinders made of green rubber that also glows; a wonderfully unique touch! The middle part of the case is durable titanium with a sleek black PVD coating.
The Luminous Look: It’s Very Green
Of course, the star of the show is the glow. The intense green Super-LumiNova isn’t random; it beautifully mimics the distinctive green light of aeronautical HUD systems, which pilots affectionately call the “Collimateur Tête Haute.” This intentional design choice makes it a rather aerial watch, truly connecting it to the world of flight.

The dial is quite a wild sight, too, in the best possible way. It features an “X”-shaped construction with green highlights, and it’s skeletonised, meaning you can see the movement through a smoked glass. All the important details — the numerals, indexes, hands, the date window outline, and even the power reserve indicator — are generously coated in the glowing green material, ensuring maximum visual impact (and of course, making it look extra green).

High Precision
Then, what makes this beauty of a timepiece, tick? It has a really nice, in-house automatic movement called the BR-CAL.323. It’s not just powerful, it runs for a long time — a whopping 70 hours on one wind! Better still, it’s been certified by the Swiss COSC, making it certain that the BR-X3 Night Vision boasts a high level of accuracy.

And with the introduction of this dazzling Night Vision edition, the BR-X3 trilogy is completed. It joins the two other avant-garde BR-X3 watches: the Black Titanium (stealth aircraft style) and the Blue Steel (space flight suit style), completing the epic journey from Earth to space, and now, to the most clandestine of missions: night flight.
To top it all off, this watch is limited to only 250 pieces worldwide. That rarity makes it pretty exclusive, and a highly desirable collector’s item for any connoisseur of exceptional timekeeping.
