EQ has introduced a signature roasted turkey for Thanksgiving, available for guests to order ahead of the season and take home for their own celebrations. Prepared by the hotel’s culinary team, it’s a made-to-order option for anyone who wants the ceremony of a whole roasted bird without the hours of prep that usually come with it.

The bird itself comes with credentials. Sourced from Russia and supplied by Damate, it’s halal-certified and weighs in between 6 and 8kg, roasted by EQ’s culinary brigade and paired with all the trimmings a proper feast demands: chestnut stuffing, roasted potatoes, cranberry sauce, giblet gravy and a mix of vegetables. It’s priced at RM108 per kg, and because it’s prepared to order, each one arrives fresh rather than frozen and reheated. The partnership behind it is worth noting too, with Sannis Frozen Product (M) Sdn. Bhd. working alongside EQ to bring Damate’s turkey onto Malaysian tables.

To mark the launch, EQ threw an evening called A Taste of the Season Ahead, giving guests a preview of what’s coming before orders officially opened. Executive Chef Nor Azizi Taslim and Chef de Cuisine Steve Ariffin led a Turkey Parade through the room, building anticipation for the ceremonial first carve, which fell to Dato’ William Sat, Founder of Sannis Frozen Product, alongside En Silahuddin bin Jamaluddin, Executive Director of Melewar Industrial Group, and Justin Lee, General Manager of EQ. The evening doubled as an introduction to the hotel’s festive takeaway concept and the home-style approach behind it.
