As the Year of The Horse draws closer, the city is already buzzing with preparations to welcome yet another prosperous year. Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral is no exception to this. For this Lunar New Year of 2026, the hotel has a lot of curated offerings lined up for the festive season. This year, the theme is a spirited “Gallop into Fortune,” a fitting nod to the energy of the zodiac animal itself. From sprawling festive buffets to exclusive chef-led pop-ups and even takeaways to bring home, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral has got everything covered for a wonderful Lunar New Year.
Gallop into Fortune at Nook
The heart of the celebration lies at Nook, Aloft’s signature restaurant, where the atmosphere is set for a season of reunion and joy. The festive buffet spread features many crowd-favourites, perfect for those long, laughter-filled family gatherings. After all, good food is always enhanced by good company.
Highlights include Osmanthus Butter Fried Tiger Prawns, Reunion Braised Chicken with Dried Oyster and Fatt Choy, a Fortune Carving Station featuring a variety of roasted meats, and Claypot Chicken Rice with Braised Mushrooms.
Of course, no reunion is complete without the mandatory lohei. Nook features a DIY Yee Sang station, inviting guests to toss for prosperity, health, and a bit of extra luck in the coming year.
