The newest masterpiece from Bilgin Yachts’s acclaimed 163 line-up, M/Y CAMILA  was launched just this May from the shipyard’s Istanbul headquarters, as a bold 50 meter statement of contemporary elegance combining striking exterior styling & refined interiors thoughtfully crafted with Italian savoir faire. With her experienced owner having taken delivery, CAMILA will now be making an impressive summer debut in the Mediterranean region.

İsmail Şengün, CEO of Bilgin Yachts said, “The delivery of CAMILA is a proud moment for our entire team. This yacht represents a close and creative collaboration with her owner, resulting in a vessel that perfectly balances personal vision with Bilgin’s signature craftsmanship.”

With her layout intended for living to the full both indoors & outdoors, CAMILA boasts generously expansive sundecks, six beautifully appointed guest suites, and a spacious beach club. Her exterior styling is defined by a rakishly sporting silhouette & generously proportioned volumes, and her naval architecture was the work of Unique Yacht Design, whose founder Emrecan Özgün commented, “Her design is a testament to the art of blending functionality with beauty.”

As a brand-new model, CAMILA is claimed to offer 20% more interior room than comparable 48 meter yachts, with internal spaces penned by Milan’s renowned Hot Lab studio to exude a highly modern sophistication. Enrico Lumini, Partner and Head of Design at Hot Lab added, “Stepping aboard CAMILA, one is immediately captivated by an atmosphere of refined elegance and sophisticated luxury. The interior design effortlessly blends modern aesthetics with timeless style, creating spaces that are both inviting and visually stunning.”

Indeed, attention to detail is fully impeccable throughout CAMILA, reflecting Bilgin Shipyard’s constantly enhanced focus on even the finest of elements. Specifically curated to reflect the owner’s personal tastes & lifestyle, each one embodies truly beautiful craftmanship: from the main dining area’s incredible onyx table, to the hundreds of glass leaves featured in the main foyer’s bespoke chandelier. Reflective surfaces including glass and polished metals give the lobby a sense of refreshingly airy openness. Subtle artistic accents & bespoke fixtures underscore the yacht’s minimalistic yet luxurious yet ambiance throughout, including Minotti main salon lounges and soothingly warn natural timber flooring.

Frank Grzeszczak Jr., Vice President of FGI Yacht Group, was pivotal in uniting the buyer & Bilgin Yachts to bring CAMILA to life, stating, “I feel honored to have merged this partnership between an experienced and demanding client, and Bilgin Shipyard. It has been nothing short of an exceptional experience. Our 50-meter project, lovingly named CAMILA, will gracefully cruise the Mediterranean this summer with her new proud owner. She will undoubtedly turn heads as she cruises the Mediterranean this summer.”

Optimized for long, luxurious voyages, CAMILA is propelled by twin 1,450hp CAT engines, with a 16.5 knot top speed and an impressive 5,000 nautical mile range at cruising velocities. Bilgin Yachts’ Commercial Director Berkay Yılmaz joyfully concluded, “We take immense pride in seeing this project come to fruition. Our team has worked tirelessly, and the result is a truly stunning yacht. The distinctive elegance of M/Y CAMILA will undoubtedly capture attention wherever she goes. She is another stunning yacht which will cruise to US waters and I am grateful to work with an experienced yacht owner who was heavily involved with her design process with Hot Lab. Interiors have been described as a beautiful, bespoke homage to the owner’s lifestyle and elegantly designed elements inside and outside made her a stunning yacht.”

Without a doubt, CAMILA is set to reinforce Bilgin Yachts’ reputation as a leader in bespoke superyacht construction, just as the successful Snow 5 and Starburst III have. She is set to make an appearance at September’s Monaco Yacht Show as part of her Mediterranean tour, before embarking for US waters in the fall to make a truly indelible mark on the global yachting scene.
