While the views remain the undisputed star, the auditory experience has been given a massive upgrade. SkyBar is now home to a state-of-the-art K-array immersive sound system, the same technology endorsed by global superstar David Guetta.
Unlike standard speaker setups, this system offers high-fidelity, “surround-room” audio. Whether it’s the resident DJ spinning deep house or a live band performing, the sound is crystal clear and perfectly balanced, ensuring the music is immersive without overpowering the conversation.

The most exciting addition for cocktail enthusiasts is the launch of the Spirits of Kuala Lumpur series. Designed as a tribute to the upcoming Visit Malaysia 2026 initiative, this cocktail menu is a liquid map of the city’s most iconic neighbourhoods.
The Inspiration: From the gritty, bustling energy of Chow Kit to the spice-scented streets of Brickfields.
The Stars: The series is headlined by the SkyBar Superstars, a signature drink duo inspired by the architectural symmetry of the Petronas Twin Towers.
To pair with these craft creations, the food menu has also been refined, focusing on high-quality shareable plates, gourmet pizzas and signature mains that make SkyBar as much of a dining destination as it is a lounge.

General Manager Sachin Tyagi notes that while the look is new, the “service heart” of Traders Hotel remains the same. To welcome guests back, the bar has introduced the Golden Hour Offer, inviting visitors to enjoy specially priced cocktails as the sky turns from blue to amber.
