On December 14th next Sunday, for another extraordinary day Das Treffen will take the centre stage once again as this uniquely Thai affair celebrates its milestone 10th edition right at the event’s home ground of Bangkok’s IMPACT Speed Park Bangkok. First conceived by heartfelt Porsche enthusiast Sihabutr “Tenn” Xoomsai as a casual gathering for equally petrolheaded friends, this vibrant showcase of passionate camaraderie has evolved into quite simply our region’s most renowned Porsche festival, uniting both cars and the people they draw across generations.

Promising to enthrall Porsche owners & enthusiasts alike as it has always done for the past several years, Das Treffen X will see IMPACT Speed Park transformed into several themed zones centered around a dedicated Porsche hospitality village. Here, a Porsche Lifestyle Boutique will enable visitors to acquire exclusive merchandise, before diving into the thrill of virtually driving their favourite Porsche on iconic racetracks thanks to a state-of-the-art racing simulator.

Taking absolute pride of place beside this will be the Motorsport zone itself, with a Porsche 956 flown in from the Porsche Museum especially to be the highlight feature display. Having famously dominated endurance racing throughout the 1980s, it managed to score four 24 Hours of Le Mans overall victories consecutively from 1982 to 1985, while establishing new speed & aerodynamics benchmarks which set that entire era’s standards; firmly establishing its standing as a genuine motorsport icon. Linking this incredibly storied heritage right into the present day, the cutting-edge 963 LMDh race car will stand alongside its historic winning forebear, fresh from both an impressive 2025 Le Mans second-place finish and IMSA Championship triumph; with this striking pairing of endurance racing champions bridging Porsche’s unequaled Raceborn heritage with its steadfast vision for continued future success.

Meanwhile, representing the versatile breadth of Porsche’s identity, a specially prepared Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé will be showcased on the Adventure stage. Built in Malaysia for Thailand, it was famously driven over 22,000 kilometres on the @epicroadtripping Bangkok-Stuttgart Porsche Drive: a remarkable expedition of both classic & modern Porsches traversing 17 countries over 61 days, demonstrating these machines’ endurance capabilities by gamely tackling extreme climates and treacherous terrains alike. With a team of Thai long-distance driving enthusiasts leading the way, it truly became a testament of their resilience, endurance & hunger for exploration. These trailblazers themselves will also be on-site at Das Treffen X, hopefully inspiring the next generation of pioneering voyagers with their tales of adventure.

Vintage Porsches have undoubtedly always been another key part of Das Treffen’s unique soul, and here the Heritage zone will exhibit curated rare classics revered for their timeless designs & engineering excellence, anchored by 2025’s limited edition 911 Spirit 70 that celebrates the 1970s’ vibrantly transformative spirit.

More driving focused Porsche owners can even put their dynamic skills to the test with an exhilarating slalom challenge, before relaxing amid Das Treffen’s always lively festival atmosphere with food trucks and live music. Offering something for every breed of motorhead, this much anticipated 10th edition looks surely set to be a pinnacle of honouring Southeast Asia’s unique brand of Porsche passion throughout the past decade.
