In the realm of yachting, engineering excellence is not the sole major factor – significantly, it’s also about elegance, vision, and that almost intangible moment when the sea & sun converge with remarkable craftsmanship to form truly mesmerizing memories. Now, via the lens of Guillaume Plisson who is renowned for his unique photographic visions of the maritime world, the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show’s ambitious Tribute To Yachting artistic initiative draws visitors to enrich their visit with a more in-depth emotional dimension, while highlighting the artistry of yachting with fresh perspectives.

The exhibition will be specially previewed during the show eve’s Grand Opening Night, with a curation of images exclusively granting guests a foretaste of the full photographic journey that awaits visitors throughout this year’s MYS. For the exhibition itself, 100 large format photographs will be displayed across the show’s entire area throughout Port Hercule on the 24th to 27th of September. Blended with care into the event’s natural rhythm itself, these works of photographic art will enhance each Show attendees’ visit by providing visual pauses for reflective moments within the docks’ vibrant atmosphere itself.

Glancing through Plisson’s images themselves, it is evidently clear that his keenly experienced lens captures the essence of yachting through all of its key facets: the power of impactful design, the calm yet stirring elegance of movement over the seas, and the rare promise of an adventurously inspiring lifestyle. More than just a simple showcase, the exhibited images will express untold stories in both black & white and colour while encouraging visitors to peer beyond yachting’s glamorous sheen, exploring into the heart of passionate craftsmanship & vision that often shapes these pleasure vessels themselves – along with the intention behind every chosen design line that follows the rhythm of those who move according to the oceans.

The esteemed photographer shared, This exhibition was born from a shared desire with the Monaco Yacht Show: to offer an artistic and emotional perspective on the world of yachting. But none of this would have been possible without the concrete and steadfast support of the entire industry. Owners, shipyards, designers, crews… All contributed to making these images possible. By granting access to the yachts, sharing moments at sea, and allowing room for the intuition of my gaze, they have helped build, year after year, a visual memory of contemporary yachting. With the MYS, this exhibition was conceived as a condensed retrospective of this photographic journey—to reveal the diversity, emotions, and richness of a world often elusive—and as a grateful tribute to all those who embody the universe of yachting.”

Weaving Guillaume Plisson’s artistic narrative into its broader visitor experience, the Monaco Yacht Show thus further strengthens its core values of design, innovation, excellence, sustainability, and lifestyle. It also builds upon an aspiration across the industry to inspire new clients by encouraging them to slow down even amidst today’s often frenetic pace of life, and reconnect with the essence of yachting itself while truly feeling the best that the industry has to offer.
