Since the days that Ferrucio Lamborghini first squeezed a pair of 4 liter 350 GT V12s into his Riva Aquarama, endowing it with a surprising turn of speed, the iconic supercar maker from Sant’Agata Bolognese has been no stranger to going fast even on the water. And so it is too at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, where Automobili Lamborghini & The Italian Sea Group has exclusively premiered the striking new Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT. These two cutting edge Italian companies first collaborated five years ago with 2020’s Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, paying tribute to the House of Sant’ Agata’s founding year and met with a rapturous reception from enthusiasts of fast motoring & yachting alike.

Christened to reflect its length of about 30 meters overall, the new 101FT embodies both companies’ efforts in globally representing Italian excellence. Seamlessly blending the Italian Sea Group’s technical and watercraft engineering expertise of the Italian Sea Group with the unmistakable aesthetics & innovation forwardness that have long defined the greatest Lamborghini super sports cars, it seeks to truly champion the best of Italian industriousness with a boldly luxurious design and high technological prowess.

Inspired strongly by the few-off Fenomeno 29-car exclusive edition unveiled at Monterey Car Week, the 101FT’s overall design is defined by Lamborghini’s iconic visual language with every detail conceived to function as ideally as it appears aesthetically pure; from the raked windscreen & glasshouse roof lines to the distinctive graphic shapes that dominate its lateral profiles. Further iconic design elements can be found in the yacht’s Fenomeno inspired detailing including its Giallo Crius launch livery colour, and front & rear lights that could have come right from the supercar itself. Even the helm draws direct inspiration from the Temerario “fuoriclasse” hybrid V8 PHEV’s interior, with the goal here being to give Lamborghini clients the indisputable sense that helming the 101FT is the same uniquely unrepeatable experience as driving their own supercars.

This design language has been carried right through into the 101FT’s interior too, with signature Lamborghini elements including sharp lines, hexagons and the Y-shapes enhanced by classic colors, stitching & trim forms from the House of Sant’Agata Bolognese. A maximum of 8-9 guests can be luxuriantly accommodated on-board alongside 3 crew cabins, while the overall environment is comfortably spacious to ensure that even longer stints at sea will be as pleasurable as they are invigorating.

Befitting a craft with the Raging Bull badge at its forefront, the 101FT will be powered by three potent MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, producing 7,600 horsepower in total to drive 3 surface propellers for cruising and top speeds of 35 & 45 knots respectively. There are two 35 kW generators on board as well, to ensure reliable efficiency in all operating conditions. Exclusively premiered in scale at Monaco where yachting’s international elites have gathered once more, the production 101FT is targeted to sail at the end of 2027.
