Christmas came a little early at EQ Hotel, and frankly, we’re not complaining! We at The Grid Asia recently had the absolute pleasure of attending a wonderfully festive media preview banquet that showcased EQ Hotel’s spectacular holiday offerings. It was a proper taste of the season’s magic, served up with the hotel’s signature sophisticated flair.
This year, the theme is a dazzling White Christmas. And let’s be honest, who says we can’t have one in tropical Malaysia, even without a single snowflake having ever graced the lands? The moment you step into the lobby, you’re transported into a Winter Wonderland. The halls are completely decked out in gorgeous white Christmas décor, from the shimmering, elegant white Christmas trees to the enchanting overall vibe. It truly encapsulates the sophistication and joy of a White Christmas dream.
Spreading Cheer and Holiday Treats
Beyond the beautiful decorations, EQ has a wonderfully thoughtful initiative this year: the Angel Tree Initiative. It’s a lovely effort to spread the love around during the festive season. Guests can select a wish card from the lobby Christmas tree, each representing a child from Shelter Home. Guests can then fulfil a wish by purchasing a gift or making a donation, which the lovely hotel team will personally deliver at a dedicated Christmas party. How’s that for the true Christmas spirit?
Adding a touch of luxury to the holiday cheer, EQ has also partnered up with Grand Seiko to feature an exclusive Grand Seiko Christmas Showcase. And, of course, the lobby will remain a festive hub on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, with appearances from the lovable Santa and the cheerful sound of jolly Christmas carollers.
A Feast for the Senses: EQ’s Dining Delights
Of course, what’s a grand holiday celebration without an equally grand spread of food? We had the mouth-watering opportunity to sample the upcoming holiday offerings from every single dining establishment at EQ during the banquet. Get your calendars ready, because you’ll want to book a spot for these!
