If you’ve ever wanted to see the Lion City (that is, Singapore) in a whole new light, then this is your chance. As of August 1st, 2025, LEGOLAND Malaysia has officially relaunched MINILAND Singapore.
If you’re new to the magic of MINILAND, it’s exactly what the name suggests — a world in miniature, all crafted from those iconic plastic bricks we know and love; LEGO! It’s a signature attraction at many LEGOLAND parks across the world, where famous landmarks and bustling cityscapes are shrunk down to an awe-inspiring, open-air exhibit. Think of it as a detailed, colourful piece of artwork crafted entirely from LEGO bricks, celebrating the beauty of our world. One such example is MINILAND Asia, which features Kuala Lumpur and the unmistakably iconic Petronas Twin Towers, built entirely out of LEGO! It’s a very novel and interesting experience to see these landmarks in LEGO brick-form, scaled down to a mini size compared to their original form.
MINILAND Singapore first captivated visitors back in 2012, but it has now returned, bigger and grander than ever. This relaunch is more than just a new attraction; it serves as a heartfelt tribute to the Lion City, arriving just in time for Singapore’s 60th anniversary. It’s like a gift — an intricate gift from Malaysia to its neighbour across the causeway — which celebrates Singapore’s most vibrant and iconic scenes with stunning detail.
The LEGO artistry on display is simply amazing. It took over 16,000 hours to meticulously craft this attraction, using more than 1.5 million LEGO bricks. These numbers sound unbelievable, which just highlights even further the time and effort spent to make MINILAND a reality. Spanning over 240m², the new MINILAND Singapore is a bustling metropolis in its own right. It features 16 large models, 10 boats, 80 vehicles, and over 100 intricate scenes, all brought to life by more than 1,600 Minilanders — tiny LEGO figures each brimming with personality. Taking a look at the MINILAND attractions will have you feeling like a giant, peering down at a vibrant, living scene; only in a mini, brick-built world!
The reimagined MINILAND Singapore is packed with brand-new builds that stand out for both their scale and their interactive charm. Highlights include:
Marina Bay Sands
This centrepiece stands at a majestic 4 metres tall, capturing the grandeur of one of Singapore’s most recognisable landmarks. It’s a true brick-built marvel!
Singapore Flyer
A 3.4-metre structure that actually rotates! You can spot festive scenes and mini cultural performances happening beneath its colourful gaze.
Merlion Fountain
A true fan favourite, this model shoots real water! Push a button and watch as a water jet streams from the mouth of the iconic Merlion, just like the real thing.
Gardens By The Bay
Complete with cascading waterfalls, mist effects, suspended walkways, and lush greenery, this model brings Singapore’s famous gardens to life in miniature form.
