Thinking of heading to Shanghai soon but still figuring out your itinerary? Well, something real interesting has just popped up – whether you’re a serious horology buff or just someone who loves a good discovery!

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Audemars Piguet, as their incredible pop-up exhibition has landed in Shanghai. This renowned watchmaking house is celebrating a truly grand milestone – their 150th anniversary in 2025 – and as part of the celebrations, they’re taking this immersive experience to locations all over the globe, with Shanghai being one of the lucky stops.

Dubbed “The House of Wonders“, this exhibition is an absolute must-see. It whisks you away on an immersive journey into Audemars Piguet’s watchmaking excellence and rich history. You’ll retrace the company’s story right from its founding in 1875 in Le Brassus, all the way to the present day. It’s a brilliant opportunity to see the incredible craftsmanship, deep heritage, and meet the brilliant minds (figuratively speaking, of course!) who have shaped not only Audemars Piguet but the entire watchmaking industry for a century and a half.

You can find this captivating exhibition at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, and it’s running from 24th May to 8th June. The exhibition boasts several themed areas, including “The Clock Room” and “Mechanical Secrets”, promising a truly marvellous treat as you explore.

What’s more, it’s completely free of charge! Visitors just need to remember to book their visit beforehand to secure a spot.
