KL Looks Forward To 4 Seasons

New Skyscraper Set To Light Up KL Mid-2018

65 storeys, 242 private residences, 209 guest rooms and 27 serviced apartments- all of these and more, will be found perched in the brand-new Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur by mid-2018. This new skyscraper is definitely going to be dwarfed by the rest of KL's tall monuments, such as the Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower, but the fact that the new hotel will be overlooking some of these grand city sights, is just one of the reasons to want to consider putting up at the new hotel, located in the posh area of KL's Golden Triangel neighbourhood.

The Canadian brand is of course known globally as a pioneer of the hospitality industry for the last 50 years (besides being a profitable avenue for Bill Gates to hoard away his bottomless treasure chest through Cascade Investment). We're not entirely sure as to which local establishment operates the soon-to-be launched Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur, but we're nonetheless excited at all the facilities and features this new high-rise will bring to good-ol' KL's charm.

For one, the new Four Seasons KL promises an F&B treat that is quite impressive, lead by Executive Chef Junious Dickerson who has vast experience in innovating global culinary practices and flavours. The Chef has been based in a host of big hotels around the globe, working previously at places like The Wynfrey (Birmingham, Alabama, USA), Hilton Ocean Walk Village (Daytona Beach, Florida, USA) and Intercontinental Mauritius (Mauritius). He has also been based in Malaysia before, helming the scene at places like Sutera Harbour Resort and Country Club, Nexus Resort Karmbunai and Hotel Equatorial Penang. So clearly, the gastronomic experience at KL's Four Seasons will be exceptional. How many eateries at the hotel you ask?

The answer is a mix of six restaurants and lounges, which includes a nice chocolaterie and gelato shop which apparently sits on a poolside rooftop deck overlooking the city. Yup, that sounds like quite the place to kick it back. The restaurants/lounges are varied in taste delivery, ranging from authentic Chinese and pan-Asian cuisine to traditional Arabic-style fare. And there's also a dedicated patisserie shop, dedicated to small indulgences of fine pastries, baked goods and great coffee.

As with other big-chain hotels, there's an entire floor designated to weddings and private events of any scale. Globally renowned for our style, sophistication and events expertise – from flawless execution and meticulous attention to detail, to a team of creative specialists, Four Seasons is an unforgettable venue for family and friends to celebrate love.

The Spa at Four Seasons is also complete, featuring eight treatment rooms, including two designated couple's treatment rooms, and offers an extensive menu inspired by ancient practices found throughout Southeast Asia, which will be combined with some modern practices as well.

The Spa's highlights also include a fitness centre with weight training and physical fitness equipment, with personal trainers available. This also means that the Four Seasons KL also has full men's and women's facilities including steam, sauna, whirlpool, change rooms and relaxation areas. The plus point will surely be the panoramic city views overlooking Kuala Lumpur's skyline, something which looks quite magical when the sun goes down.
