The Flagship Of Riva Superyachts Division Debuted During An Exclusive Event At The Historic Arsenale Of Venice.
50 meters long and with a beam of 9 meters, the forerunner of Riva Superyachts Division dubbed M/Y Race, made its triumphant debut over the marvellous settings of the Venice Arsenal last June 15th.
Taking after the famous M/Y series steel yachts “Caravelle” and “Atlantic” built between the 60s and 70s by visionary genius Carlo Riva, the Riva 50 meters appeared majestic and elegant and it signified a dream came true for the shipyard. An event attended by shipowners from all around the world, the magnificent evening was unfolded with a refined dinner by Massimo Bottura, followed by a gala reception and culminatingin the unveiling of the Riva 50 meters – a true nautical artwork against the historic backdrop of the open-air museum of the Venitian lagoon.

The Riva 50 meters is the result of the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta who exclusively designs the entire Riva range, and engineering team dedicated to designing the new Riva super yachts with the Ferretti Group Product Strategic Committee.

On the occasion of the worldwide premiere, Ferretti Group collaborated with important international luxury brands. Amongst the partners which made the event more magical: Emirates exhibited the Airbus A380 First Class Suite at the Arsenale and Jaguar Land Rover, which started its partnership with Ferretti Group by exhibiting some of their magnificent cars. Antinori, Belvedere Vodka, Veuve Clicquot, Flos, Gruppo Giardini, Nardi, Osteria Francescana, Venezia Certosa Marina and Venice Yacht Pier also contributed as partners.
