The Ferretti Yachts 920 Restyled To Interpret The New Philosophy “Just Like Home”.

Ferretti Yachts recently unveiled the restyled Ferretti Yachts 920 PURE during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2019. At 28.49 metres length overall (LOA), the Ferretti Yachts 920 PURE is a collaboration between the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, which saw the Ferretti Yachts 920 restyled according to Ferretti Yachts new adopted philosophy of “Just Like Home”. The Ferretti Yachts 920 PURE stands out for the new lines of the interiors, which are cleaner, softer and more essential while the materials employed are simpler but yet more refined. The results – a true luxury villa on water.

The interior theme consists of warm colours accentuated by the new materials and fabrics making the atmosphere within the Ferretti Yachts 920 PURE more welcoming than ever. The white lacquered ceilings heightens space and volume, combined beautifully with the bleached oak parquet flooring, the leather upholstered furnitures, the details in sand, cashmere, and sephia colour, and the light-coloured marble – resulting in a chromatic harmony that comes to life.

Within the main deck, the lounge and dining areas features panoramic views of the outdoors, courtesy of the wide all round windows. Furnishings within the lounge and dining areas are entirely by Minotti, particularly from the Alexander collection, the Prince armchair, the Damier ottoman, Shields and Waves coffee table, Catlin round dining table and Aston dining chairs, all of which further complements to the ambiance of elegance, warmth, comfort and homeliness.

As with its predecessor of the Ferretti Yachts 920 PURE, the raised forward section of the hull enables the introduction of the wide-body master suite on the main deck, maximising space within the master suite. In further visually enhancing the generosity of volume and space, the cabin features a large mirror over the bed. The master suite employs Minotti fabrics used for the pillows and headboards, while Gentili & Mosconi sheaths the bed. The master cabin also houses a spacious walk-in closet with built-in lighting and a completely extractable shoe rack. A Minotti Creed sofa in ocean blue colour is fitted within in accentuating the seascape view which can be admired through the large windows.

At the slightly lower level within the foredeck lies the full-beam bathroom, laid out in three zones comprising of head, shower and washbasin area (with large mirrors). The entire area is covered in an elegant marble in light colours that reflect the colours of all the other areas of the yacht.

The central part of the main deck controls the movement and flow onboard. On the port side is the access to the galley, from which you could either go up to the helm station or out onto the exterior walkway. A little walk forward, you will arrive at the first technical and system monitoring area, beyond of which will lead you to a set of stairs down to the crew quarters. On the starboard side, lies an access to the lower deck, with a large storage area to the left and day toilet to the right. The stairway down to the lower deck is fitted with parquet, illuminated by a skylight and framed by a wall of mirrors and leather. The lower lobby features the finest materials from Zimmer & Rohde.

The lower deck houses the guests’ area of three large en suite cabins – of which a full-beam double suite is located at the aft, a second VIP suite located on the port side, and the third cabin with single beds completes the lower deck guests’ area. Furnishings features the same interplay of materials and colours as the upper deck – and this includes the Minotti headboards with graphic-colour Kabuki fabric used in the master cabin. This is on top of each of the cabin’s own specific customisations. Nearer to the bow area of the lower deck, separated from the guests’ area lies the crew area, of which on board the Ferretti Yachts 920 PURE, special attention was paid. This area features a dinette with laundry area, the captain’s private cabin, with two double cabins with shared bathroom fitted with separate shower for the crew.

The exterior areas allows for an impressive amount of spaces for relaxation and luxurious furnishings, both built-in and freestanding, the latter by the Italian outdoor furniture brand Roda. The sun pad on the deckhouse leads into a dinette fitted with two forward-facing sofas and two sofas with adjustable backrests along the bulwark, creating a large lounge area complete with coffee tables, which could be protected and shaded by a sun canopy upon request.

Yet another panoramic area is the flybridge, dedicated to relaxation, specifically at the centre and at the stern. This area is shaded by a hard top overlooking the dining area and the outdoor helm station. The bar unit below can be configured to suit the specific needs of each owner. Furnitures on the flybridge area are from Roda’s Harp 350 line, Light Pier collection and Piper line collections.

The cockpit features a a multi-purpose sofa which could be converted into a sunpad or as a seat for the custom outdoor dining table in teak with steel inserts, accompanied by five teak chairs from Roda’s Piper collection. At the stern is the submersible hatch, the signature system used to move the garage door and swimming platform offering guests all the comfort of a spacious beach club and allowing the crew to easily manage a tender measuring up to 4 metres in length.
