The Sunseeker 100 Yacht wins the 2022 World Yacht Trophies for ‘Best Exterior Design’ award.
The Sunseeker 100 Yacht, applauded for its exceptional design and strength capability, has been awarded the ‘Best Exterior Design’ award at one the most prestigious and internationally recognised awards in the yachting industry – the 2022 World Yacht Trophies.
The triumphant vessel will revolutionize the Sunseeker Yacht range profound in flybridge design and functionality of the United Kingdom yard. The naval architecture and interior design has all been completed by Sunseeker.
“We are thrilled to win this prestigious award at Cannes Yachting Festival, completing what has already been a spectacular show for Sunseeker and its global dealer network. Building on our multi-award-winning portfolio, the latest 100 Yacht joins an expanding range of yachts designed and built to exceptional quality standards and unmatched innovation“, commented Andrea Frabetti, CEO at Sunseeker International.
He further adds, “these awards are a great testament to Sunseeker’s commitment to New Product Development, pushing the boundaries in naval architecture, engineering, construction and design, to offer a unique and completely new product for every client.“
Prominently, she offers great versatility to house new entertainment features at the fore. The sweeping flybridge is designed with a complete walk-around access from bow to stern, creating a vast expansion on the flybridge cleverly zoned to offer a seamless space that truly defines the proud opus.
The foredeck has two separate seating arrangements with cinema screen capability, where the central flybridge has copious space to fit L-shaped seating, a fully equipped wet bar, and space aft for free-standing furniture, or if preferred, a spa bath.
The 22-foot beam adds significant interior volume contributing to a guise that the superyacht is much larger than a 100-footer, furnished with luxurious and contemporary interior features typically found in bespoke superyachts. The full-beam master suite sits on the main deck and is fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows from port to starboard, as well as an exceptional glass atrium door leading to the owner’s private bow terrace.
Powered by MTU 12V 2000 M96X or MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesel engines, the majestic 100 Yacht boasts a top speed of 28.0 kn and a maximum cruising range of 1300.0 nm at 12.0 kn.
Reflecting its enormous strength and design capability, the yacht has been awarded CE Category A/Ocean status.
