Ferretti Group Upbeat With New Orders Up 18% Over Same Period Of 2018 After Close Of European Boat Show Season And Summer Events.

After the conclusion of the European season of boat shows and summer events at the end of September, Ferretti Group announced that they have collected new orders totalling more than €465 million, in the first 9 months of 2019, an increase of 18% compared to the first 9 months of 2018.  

According to Ferretti Group, the sterling results were attributed to the launch of 5 new models coming from the Ferretti Group brands of Riva, Pershing, Ferretti Yachts and Custom Line, the relaunch of the Wally brand which was acquired by Ferretti Group earlier in April this year and the Ferretti Security Division (FSD) who were recently awarded a contract to supply 16 coastal patrol boats to the Arma del Carabinieri. For the Wally brand, it was the 48 Wallytender which was under the spotlight as the launch during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2019 registered orders for seven of the 48 Wallytender units. 

“I am very proud of the results achieved; these numbers seems to confirm our strategy of continuous renewal of our product range, our purchase and development of an exceptional brand such as Wally, and our expansion in the synergistic and a-cyclical FSD business, which is now beginning to see significant results after its start-up phase”, commented Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group’s Chief Executive Officer.
