25 Years Of Boat Lagoon Yachting.

Since 1994, Boat Lagoon Yachting has been the pioneer of introducing the boating lifestyle to Asia, with many new build projects of all types, from the most luxurious custom superyacht, to contemporary sports boats, timeless sailing yachts, fun day cruisers, and fishing motor boats.

Helmed by its Managing Director, Vrit Yongsakul, Boat Lagoon Yachting has been providing luxury boat ing experiences to its clients. A household name in South East Asia, they have a wide regional network with offices in Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Maldives. Specialising in new and pre-owned yacht sales, charter, after-sales and yacht management, the team comprises of a wealth of experienced personnel, including the region’s most valued shipyard engineers and service specialists: this includes 10 full-time expatriate engineers. 

They represent some of the world’s most prestigious yacht brands including Princess, Burgess, Jeanneau, Prestige and Sacs. In fact, they are the largest and oldest Princess Yachts’ dealer in Asia. The long-standing and strong partnerships with these world-renowned brands is one of reasons for the company’s accomplishment, making them one of the top dealers for luxury motor and sailing yachts in the region. With their success and Asia becoming a major yachting hub, particularly in the Southeast Asia region, they are looking at expanding their offerings to Fast boats, Catamaran, Superyachts and increased services to cover all aspects of the marine industry. 

Special service training and workshops are also often carried out in collaboration with shipyard personnel, European OEM, and key suppliers from around the world. With professional training, the captain and crew, including the owner himself, will be equipped in the necessary skills and knowledge of their yachts, ultimately enhancing their boating experience. 

Having been the pioneer in the yachting industry in South East Asia – being the first marina and service facilities in Thailand, Boat Lagoon Yachting has continued to both support and enhance the experiences in established cruising grounds such as Phuket, Pattaya and Singapore. At the same time being the first in many achievements, and first to deliver new experiences in new destinations to their customers. The company does play a very proactive role in almost all boating related activities and events in the region and has organised many lifestyle events on their own account. The display of yachts for sale and charter at regional yacht shows are almost always the most impressive. This year, Boat Lagoon Yachting will celebrate the greatest number of launches in Asia at the Singapore Yacht Show with the Asia Premiere of Princess Y85, Princess F45, Princess R35 and SAC Rebel 47, which is one of the latest brands added to their portfolio. 

Boat Lagoon Yachting has a strong owners’ community and regularly organises spectacular collaborations with some of the world’s most prestigious luxury brands and destinations. One of the prominent events done in the past year, includes Fullerton Concour s d’Elegance. Boat Lagoon Yachting was the only luxury yacht brand to be specially invited by Fullerton alongside with other finest brands to celebrate the its 90th anniversary, where President Halimah Yacob and His Highness the Tunku Mahkota of Johor graced the event. The event saw the stunning Princess 62 and Princess S65 adorned the panoramic water front of Marina Bay. These 2 yachts also made history by being the largest yachts to enter Marina Bay waters. VIP guests were treated to an exclusive cruise around the bay where they had the opportunity to get a close-up view of Singapore’s iconic landmarks – Merlion, Esplanade, Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands, Fullerton Hotel. 

The real focus of the company is to help boat owners in enjoying their yachts to the fullest, as well as exploring the vast cruising grounds and enjoying what South East Asia has to offer.

The annual BLY Owners Rendezvous brings together their yacht owners to cruise and relax together with their families. It is hosted at different destinations within South East Asia, and at different times of the year to allow yacht owners and friends enjoy a truly unique boating experience. This is typically a multi-day getaway exclusively reserved for the company’s yacht owners and their friends. With the convenience of private jet services like Mjet, the yacht owners and friends can join in the Rendezvous event. 

The recent BLY Rendezvous saw luxury yachts that joined the rendezvous ranged in size from 31 feet to 88 feet in length. They journeyed from across Thailand and Singapore to meet in Phuket. The yacht fleet departed Phuket Boat Lagoon Marina, and headed to Cape Panwa Hotel for a welcome dinner party before cruising further to Racha Noi Island for water activities, beach party, and overnight stay either at a hotel or in the comfort of one’s own luxury yacht. The event culminated with a brunch party at Catch Beach Club, overlooking an impressive line-up of 13 luxury yachts.

Today, the company has the most extensive after-sales service and yacht maintenance facilities in Southeast Asia, including a Bht 1,200 million, 80-rai shipyard situated in a 500-rai marina. With over 80 experienced staff, expatriate engineers and service team members who are dedicated to serve clients in all their yachting needs, and with more than 200 boats on the water, Boat Lagoon Yachting is the partner of choice for yacht-owners across the region. 

Boat Lagoon Yachting currently has nine branches in five countries: Penang branch in Malaysia, Jakarta branch in Indonesia, Singapore branch, Maldives branch as well as five branches in Thailand: Bangkok, Pattaya, Krabi, Samui and Phuket.
