The Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster: All 63 Limited Units Accounted And Spoken For

The Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster Unveiled At The Monterey Car Week.

In mid August recently, Automobili Lamborghini presented the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster alongside the Huracan EVO GT Celebration (for the North American market) and the Urus in one of the many new colour colour scheme at the Monterey Car Week.

Creating a new expression of exclusivity following the SVJ 63 coupe, the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster will also be produced in just 63 numbered units commemorating the company's founding year of 1963. Interestingly, all 63 units were already accounted and spoken for prior to reveal - further reinforcing Lamborghini's term on exclusivity.

On paper, the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster sports primary differences of exterior & interior aesthetics and a minuscule performance difference when compared to its coupe sibling.

All 63 units adorns eight distinctive and exotic exterior and interior colour and trim combinations and this is unique only to the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster. This is the result of the collaboration between Lamborghini's Centro Stile design team and Ad Personam department who have drawn upon the virtually limitless colour and trim options available through Lamborghini's personalisation program.

On the exterior, the styling was specifically developed for the Roadster model - with an option of matt or shiny carbon fibre upper parts which includes the roof, engine cover, engine air vents, windscreen rim and wing mirrors. The Leirion forged rims sports a new matt titanium finish. The SVJ 63 Roadster also carries the SVJ 63 livery and a '1 of 63' numbered plate.

Inside, three color schemes in Alcantara, featuring carbon fiber elements throughout the cockpit, are complemented by Lamborghini's patented lightweight CarbonSkin. A badge on the steering wheel endorses the car as one of a limited edition, as does a '63' logo on the rear wall in Alcantara and CarbonSkin.

The Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster upholds the exceptional performance, handling and aerodynamic superiority of the SVJ coupe. Having the same power plant, the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster is just 0.1 seconds behind the Aventador SVJ 63 Coupe on the century sprint and just 0.2 seconds behind for the 0 - 200 km/h sprint. Top speeds remains the same at more than 350 km/h.

It would be interesting to see how many out of the 63 units will reach Southeast Asia, and in particular, how many will reach Malaysia.
