For the third edition of ART SG, the fair will collaborate with four Cultural Partners to create a citywide dynamic programme. The partners have a strong connection to cultural Southeast Asian roots and are dedicated to strengthening the region’s art scene and its global impact. These four Cultural Partners are:
- Bangkok Kunsthalle (Bangkok): Director Stefano Rabolli Pansera will curate ART SG FILM – which is a selection of films, video art, and moving image works. The focus will be on highlighting innovative artistic practices and groundbreaking artists. In 2025, the “By Artists, On Artists” will present films and videos created by artists themselves. This is showcased alongside films about the lives and careers of renowned artists. The programme is split into three parts – “Constructing Landscapes,” “Voices and Signs,” and “Ruins and Memories,” – in which the audience will receive a fresh perspective on contemporary art across various historical and disciplinary contexts.
- Delfina Foundation (London): Led by director Aaron Cezar, the collaboration involves creating a series of programmes on collecting, philanthropy and creating private foundations. This programme gets its inspiration from Delfina Foundation’s own, which is the ‘Collecting as Practice’ programme. Three topics will be discussed at ART SG 2025, delving into the crucial role of collectors in shaping the artistic landscape of the region.
- M Art Foundation (Hong Kong, Singapore): With Zong Han as the director, this artist-centric organisation will present a series of curated programmes that align with the foundation’s principles and thematic concerns. The foundation values and helps emerging contemporary artists through commissioning exhibitions, publishing and other forms of visual art philanthropy.
- Art Outreach (Singapore): This organisation will host a visual arts summit featuring a panel of experts including Alessio Antoniolli (Director, Triangle Network London), Honor Harger (Vice President, ArtScience Museum and Vice President, Attractions Marina Bay Sands), Dr. Sook-kyung Lee (Director, The Whitworth, Manchester; Curator, Japan Pavilion, 60th Venice Biennale 2024), and Dr. Zoé Whitley (Director, Chisenhale Gallery), among others.
”Into the 13th edition of Singapore Art Week (SAW), we celebrate and showcase Singapore’s maturing arts landscape with the local and international arts community and audiences from all walks of life.
