One Identity, Three Coats

There’s no better feeling than to drown in the fact that your car is the only kind there is in the whole world. However, while this might be a few levels below a true bespoke experience, it’s not far off from the real deal, especially since its Porsche’s 911 GT3 we’re talking about.

Where Lamborghini has ‘Ad Personam’ and Ferrari the ‘Tailor Made’ programme, Stuttgart’s finest have ‘Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur‘, a dedicated team that devotes its energies to bringing specially commissioned Porsches to life. In this case, the Manufaktur has put their stylish craftsmanship work to great play once again with these specially commissioned Porsche 911 GT3s by Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP).

The three spirited themes now available for Malaysia, come in raunchy Signal Green and two smooth blues, Meissen Blue and Riviera Blue, the latter of which will be paraded at Bangsar Shopping Centre from this 29th of March to 1st April.

If you must know, Porsche’s special customisation arm, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, is famous for crafting exclusive interiors and exteriors according to a Porsche owner’s expectations and taste. While it can get quite audacious, the normal ilk of Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur cars are filled with extended Alcantara detailing, not to mention a tremendous focus on heightened sportiness all around.

The 911 GT3 in Riviera Blue will be on display at Bangsar Shopping Centre from 29 March to 1 April 2018.

This can usually be seen in the instrument dials, seat belts and Sport Chrono stop watch which all carry a unique colour tone. In the case of these 911 GT3s, they’ve been cloaked with a theme called ‘Guards Red’. This same ultra-sportiness is also echoed out on the exterior of the 911 GT3 with its illuminated carbon door sill guards and body-coloured air vents, adding a lot more grit to an already gritty track-ready sportscar.

While some would deem such extras unnecessary, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’s goal is to give customers a host of options to express themselves where they never knew possible… and to also give these owners the joy of turning heads with their beautiful 911s.
