Continuing its celebrations of the BMW 3-Series’ half century anniversary, BMW Malaysia has grown its locally assembled model line-up with the New BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro that offers a unique blend of sportiness, innovation and premium features. The most powerful standard 3-Series variant is exhilaratingly aimed to deliver sporty M Performance dynamics in concert with the advanced technology & premium comfort which have always defined Bavaria’s signature automotive brand.

First time viewers will be immediately drawn by the M340i xDrive M Sport Pro’s boldly athletic design form, assertively reflecting its M performance-oriented heritage. As always, a signature kidney grille marks out its front end along with sleek Adaptive LED headlights, while the new M Lights shadowline provides an added measure of sharply confident road presence here. An M aerodynamics package included as standard enhances this G20 version’s trademark sculpted body lines & toned, muscular contours. Round the back, its tail is just as striking with an M rear spoiler & twin exhaust tailpipes visually underscoring its dynamic intent.
Owners will be able to select from a range of four exterior colours comprising M Brooklyn Grey, Arctic Race Blue, Black Sapphire & Alpine White. A set of 19-inch double-spoked M light alloy wheels, high-gloss red M Sport Brakes, and an M high-gloss Shadowline finish round out the M340i xDrive M Sport Pro’s motorsport inspired appearance.
Ensuring that it has the performance to match that dynamic exterior, BMW’s 3 liter B58B30O1 TwinPower Turbo inline-6 engine powers this M340i with maximum outputs of 387 hp & 500 Nm of torque. AWD is featured here as with all of BMW’s xDrive models, and the intelligent system works with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport Transmission to deliver 0-100 km/h in only 4.4 seconds on the way to a 250 km/h maximum speed. Many 3-Series owners always love a spirited drive along their favourite serpentine roads, and here the standard Adaptive M Suspension, M sport differential and Variable Sport Steering will live up to their expectations of handling agility & precision control.

BMW’s Curved Display integrating the 12.3-inch instrument cluster with a 14.9-inch touchscreen remains the cockpit’s focal control point; while Harmon Kardon’s 16-speaker, 464 watt Surround Sound System boasts unequaled audio clarity & an immersive listening experience on the road.
There’s also a complete suite of driver assistance systems to make life behind the wheel safer and more effortless. A Driving Assistant with Lane Departure Warning & Forward Collision Warning with brake intervention is fully present to mitigate potential collisions, while the Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go Function adapts to changing traffic flows – something that will surely be much appreciated during long drives through most of Malaysia’s often congested urban roads.
