The New All-Electric Porsche Macan Launches in Malaysia

The highly anticipated Porsche Macan has finally made its debut in Malaysia. The Macan, Macan 4, Macan 4S, and Macan Turbo are now available locally, with prices starting from RM 430,000 for the single-motor variant. Since its global launch, the Macan has captivated audiences with its progressive, timeless design; signature Porsche performance; impressive long-distance range; and everyday practicality. This all-electric SUV is a first for Porsche, offering a glimpse into the future of sustainable luxury driving.

Four Electric Macan Models

The all-new Macan lineup is built on Porsche’s innovative Premium Platform Electric (PPE), which incorporates 800-volt architecture and a high-capacity 100 kWh battery.

The new rear-wheel-drive Macan Electric offers a powerful 265 kW output and a remarkable WLTP range of up to 641 km. Moving up the range, the all-wheel-drive Macan 4 Electric delivers 300 kW, while the Macan 4S Electric boasts 380 kW. The top-tier Macan Turbo Electric, with 470 kW and 1,130 Nm of torque, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, complete with a top speed of 260km/h.

All Macan models can be charged from 10% to 80% in approximately 21 minutes at fast charging stations.

The Porsche Macan is Sporty

With its sharp lines and sporty silhouette, the new Macan embodies Porsche’s iconic design language.

The new Macan’s sleek and sporty design is highlighted by its extended wheelbase and distinctive Porsche features. The sharp front end with its distinctive LED lights contributes to its dynamic appearance. The sloping roofline and frameless doors create a coupe-like silhouette, while the muscular rear end with the Porsche logo in the centre of the 3D light strip adds a touch of elegance.

The optional off-road package enhances the Macan’s capabilities on rough terrain. The car’s aerodynamic design, including active aerodynamics features, contributes to its efficiency and range.

The interior offered is spacious and practical, perfect for both daily commutes and weekend adventures. With increased luggage capacity, including a front trunk (frunk), users can easily pack for any occasion.

The cabin is designed with the driver in mind, offering a low seating position and a sporty, driver-focused cockpit. The interior is well-lit thanks to the large windows; and features a blend of digital and analogue controls, providing a modern yet intuitive driving experience.

Porsche has also prioritised sustainability by incorporating eco-friendly materials into the interior of the all-electric Macan.

A Digital Driving Experience

The cutting-edge digital driving experience is an exciting feature of the new Macan. The innovative Porsche Driver Experience features a customisable instrument cluster with a 12.6-inch curved display, a 10.9-inch central display, a 10.9-inch passenger display, a head-up display with augmented reality technology, and ambient lighting with a communication light.

The intuitive infotainment system, powered by Android Automotive OS, provides seamless connectivity and allows access to many popular apps. The intelligent voice assistant can help drivers with various tasks, such as navigation.

For future Macan owners in Malaysia, additional standard options are available, which include – Power Steering Plus, electrically-opening charging cover, Surround View incl. Active Parking Support, four-zone climate control, 230V power outlet in the luggage compartment, and a premium BOSE® Surround Sound System.

Porsche Malaysia offers a comprehensive 2-year warranty and maintenance package. The electric battery is covered by an 8-year warranty (or 160,000 km, of that comes first). Additionally, buyers can extend their warranty coverage for up to 15 years for added peace of mind.
