Celebrating 60 years of the Aston Martin and James Bond partnership – since Aston Martin’s DB5 first appeared in the iconic Goldfinger film in 1964 – the ultra-luxury car brand proudly announces the release of the DB12 Goldfinger Edition. Expertly crafted by the team at Q by Aston Martin, the DB12 boasts bespoke qualities and components, a truly fitting limited edition vehicle to celebrate this grand milestone. Only 60 units of the DB12 Goldfinger Edition would be released worldwide, making it a desirable collector’s item for both Aston Martin and Bond enthusiasts alike.

The DB12 Goldfinger Edition boasts a smart and sleek look, the ideal ride to complement a daring secret agent in his life’s endeavours. It is designed to give a James Bond driving experience, incorporating subtle elements from the Goldfinger film. Coated in the same Silver Birch paint as the DB5, one glance at this automobile could instantly remind one of the iconic film. Equipped with 21-inch diamond-treated multi-spoke wheels in a unique silver colour, paired with black brake calipers and bespoke gold side strakes, complete with a unique Aston Martin logo in silver with black enamel, the exterior of this vehicle is truly a luxurious sight to behold. Crowning the fender is a ‘Q’ badge, highlighting how the DB12 had received special attention in its creation.

The interior of the DB12 Goldfinger Edition is just as marvellous – anyone who sits inside might as well feel as if they have been transported into the film itself. The comfortable Leather Sports Plus seats, the door inserts and headliner, as well as the unique treadplate are all decorated with the Prince of Wales check perforation pattern. Inspired by the golden tracking device used by Bond in the film, the car boasts 18k Gold Plated interior accents decorating the drive mode rotary dial, roller controls, and notched gear selector – elevating the luxurious interior. An interesting point to note is the embroidered ‘eight of hearts’ symbol, a subtle detail that would catch the eye of Bond fans as it references the famous Miami pool scene in Goldfinger. To top it off, the DB12 features a polished sill plaque adorned with the Goldfinger 60th anniversary logo.

The Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition comes with a suite of exclusive gifts that match the car’s luxurious nature. Owners will receive a custom car cover and a luxurious key presentation box, as well as a Silver Birch Speedform model and a unique section of the iconic Furka Pass scene from Goldfinger in 35mm film. Owners would also be gifted with a limited edition Aston Martin magazine. These gifts will be presented in a Globe-Trotter attaché case that mirrors the car’s design – a Silver Birch body and a Prince of Wales check interior. Additionally, owners can enjoy a magnum of 2007 vintage Champagne Bollinger, individually numbered, with four exclusive Bollinger 007 glasses, stylishly housed in a bespoke Globe-Trotter Air Cabin Case.

The Aston Martin DB12 is a high-performance sports car that combines exceptional power, luxurious features, and stylish design. Powered by the powerful 4.0-litre V8 Twin-Turbo engine and producing an output of 680PS/800Nm, it delivers a thrilling driving experience while maintaining a refined feel. The car features a cutting-edge infotainment system, designed in-house by Aston Martin, as well as the exceptional, top-of-the-line Bowers & Wilkins audio system – owners can expect a truly movie-like experience as they drive, living out their Bond dreams.

“The relationship between Aston Martin and the James Bond franchise is something that is always treasured. It is an incredible occasion to be able to recognise six decades of this partnership with an extraordinary special edition, and pay homage to the very first - and perhaps most famous Aston Martin Bond car. Incorporating these subtle but impactful touches, developed by our own ‘Q’ department has created a very unique offering; one that will be adored by Bond fans across the world. Q by Aston Martin allows us to create truly unique vehicles, often initiated by the imaginations of our esteemed customers and I am delighted that we are able to support these ideas, no matter how big or small.”

Marco Mattiacci, Global Chief Brand and Commercial Officer.
