However, one eager driver simply couldn’t wait – his passion for the track burning brightly. To quell his desire, he booked a track all to himself as a personal Christmas gift, excited to unleash his Bolide’s full potential and stay ahead of the other Bolide owners.
This passionate customer is from the U.S. He is a seasoned driver, who was already familiar with the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), and was eager to push his new hyper sports car to its limits. To him, it wasn’t just a casual drive; it was the chance to experience the raw power and precision of the Bolide on the track, a testament to Bugatti’s motorsports legacy. A true enthusiast who appreciates his machinery to its fullest potential.
Every stunning performance is not without preparation. Even the most skilled drivers have to be briefed before they can handle a brand-new car. Before hitting the track, Bugatti’s team provided the owner with a comprehensive handover and technical briefing, covering every aspect of the Bolide. This thorough preparation, instead of discouraging him, only heightened his excitement for the challenging thrill of the track.
And thus came the awaited day of the event. The Bolide first went through two warm-up laps, then returned to the pits for final checks, before finally hitting the track for real.
With the Bolide in its prime, the owner started his mission of unlocking the vehicle’s full potential. 12 laps, a top speed of 333 km/h, and the unexpected added challenge of dashing through the rain – the drive was a top-tier experience. For passionate enthusiasts like the owner, racing a car was more than just the speed; it was also about connecting with a true automobile masterpiece and feeling the awe of Bugatti’s legacy.
The Bolide’s impeccable performance is complemented by its equally stunning appearance. The exterior is painted in French Racing Blue finishing with bold Nocturne accents. The car pays homage to Bugatti’s racing heritage, drawing inspiration from legendary models like the Type 35. The car’s bespoke design, featuring carbon fibre elements and a bold red tail hook, emphasises its track-focused nature.
