This collaboration is a turbocharged boost to Project V’s launch, promising a ride that’s as exhilarating as it is eco-friendly.

Yamaha Motor, renowned for its cutting-edge technology, is set to power Caterham’s electric revolution. This iconic Japanese manufacturer will provide its latest e-axle technology for Project V. This collaboration marks a significant milestone following the concept’s debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed and Tokyo Auto Salon. Caterham is now gearing up to take Project V from the drawing board to the road, with commercial production on the horizon.

Project V, Caterham’s electric masterpiece will be powered by a lightweight, compact electric powertrain engineered by Yamaha. True to Caterham’s legacy of simplicity and fun, Project V will offer a thrilling driving experience. Developed under the Caterham brand, part of VT Holdings, Project V is destined to redefine the future of electric sports cars.

The prototype model will be crafted by TOKYO R&D, a famous engineering powerhouse. With a proven track record of delivering cutting-edge prototypes for major OEMs, TOKYO R&D will bring Project V to life by mid-2025.
