2024 was indeed a great year for Automobili Lamborghini: the iconic Italian supercar maker’s deliveries, sales and operating income hit their highest levels ever in the history of the brand. Even facing the automotive market’s challenging conditions, 3.09 billion Euros of revenue were recorded, a 16.2% increase over 2023’s performance. Operating income also increased by 15.5% to 835 million Euros, while a 27% operating margin further solidified the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based manufacturer’s standing as one of the world’s most profitable luxury houses.

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said: “Evolving the entire product range while continuing to grow: this is how we can summarize another record year for Automobili Lamborghini. Despite the difficulties in the automotive market and the highly competitive climate, in 2024 we recorded growth in all three macro regions (Americas, EMEA and APAC), confirming the global strength of the brand. These results highlight the strengths of our extraordinary team and fill us with confidence and determination as we embrace the next challenges in the sector, continuing to combine performance, exclusivity and innovation.”

Sales also reached a record high, with a 5.7% year-on-year growth registered thanks to 10,687 Lamborghinis being successfully delivered. Paolo Poma, Automobili Lamborghini Managing Director and CFO, added: “The company continued to grow from both a financial and a business perspective in 2024, confirming similar levels of profitability recorded by the leading global luxury brands. In this challenging context, our goal remains that of achieving sustainable growth from both a financial and environmental point of view, creating value for all our stakeholders.”

These impressive figures that closed out 2024 marked the culmination of Automobili Lamborghini’s absolutely unprecedented recent era of transformation. Three new models launched over a span of only 18 months revamped the company’s range, and consolidated its position within the supercar segment that has always attracted high global interest. The Revuelto led this charge as Sant’Agata Bolognese’s first V12 HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle), marrying the thunderous power and iconic character of Lamborghini’s all-new V12 engine with the lightning fast responses and adaptability of three hybrid powered electric motors. Their Super SUV concept was also elevated with the Urus SE’s introduction, featuring enhanced performance alongside improvements in its design, technology and efficiency. Finally the Temerario was presented in August 2024 at Monterey Car Week as the V10 family’s newest member, with its fully redesigned engine and electrified hybrid system providing a thrillingly uncompromising driving experience Temerario while richly embodying Lamborghini’s DNA.

Lamborghini supercars have always boldly stood out with extreme design, exclusivity and driving performance, significant elements of their identity that give them an appeal that endures years and even decades beyond their production lifespans. Technological innovation can now also be added as a key factor in the company’s improved performance, with more recent continuous investments in research and development, next-generation materials like forged composites, advanced technologies and design solutions.
Each Lamborghini’s uniqueness is also driven by its combination of exclusivity, rarity, and value over the longer term. Unprecedentedly high levels of bespoke customization, iconic designs, and exemplary craftsmanship help build the enjoyably exclusive customer experience. A meticulous attention to detail and controlled production levels ensure that their desirability and residual value remain high even over time. Traditional elements are carefully balanced with innovation, to ensure that the development of more sustainable future-proof solutions doesn’t compromise the unmatched, uniquely soulful sensation of driving a Lamborghini.

The company hasn’t compromised on its manufacturing side of things either, continuing to modernise its industrial processes and take advanced cutting-edge systems on board – thus raising their standards of build quality and luxury even higher. Production is based in Sant’Agata Bolognese entirely, and the economic benefits generated by Automobili Lamborghini both locally and across the country have markedly improved global perception of the Italian automotive industry.
Employment growth has also been driven by Automobili Lamborghini’s sustained expansion, with 1,000 new employees having been over the past two years, meaning that the company’s direct workforce has increased by 30%. The company’s largest investment plan to date was also a key driver of this growth, having been aimed at developing and innovating the product range, expanding and modernizing production and manufacturing systems, and increasing its entire ecosystem’s sustainability.
