The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi celebrates its 5th year anniversary with a stunningly luxurious staycation experience.

The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi is calling – and it wants you to join them for their 5th year anniversary this September.

The Langkawi-based resort is no stranger for their superb hospitality, witnessing countless romantic weddings, gala events, beach-side dinners, family celebrations and unforgettable jollifications within its grounds. One thing that really stood out to us was when Ellen Franke, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi remarked, “We go above and beyond to create lil’ wow moments for our guests“. It was such a simple statement, yet it carried so much weight to show the platinum standard of hospitality that the team encapsulates, being ready to offer the highest attention to detail for every one of their guests at any given moment.

And that’s what this 5th year anniversary celebration is all about. A commemoration of the resort’s years of genuinely fine service and hospitality to their revered guests. 

With that said, the luxurious oceanside resort is unveiling a series of specially curated events, including a celebratory cocktail reception, a delectable dining experience, and most notably, a superluxe staycation package.

The celebration kicked-off on the 21st of September, being the actual day of the anniversary, where all resort guests were graciously invited to the Horizon Bar for a complimentary glass of a specially concocted cocktail, The Gold Standard. 

Following this, for five weeks beginning from September 23 to October 30, Executive Chef Mattia Salussoglia and his kitchen brigade is cooking up a 5-course degustation dining experience at The Beach Grill, bringing resort guests on a culinary adventure across their signature favorites and new creations from their three main dining establishments – Langkawi Kitchen, The Beach Grill and Hai Yan.

And now for the highlight of the 5th anniversary celebration, the Limited Edition Staycation package featuring a 3D2N stay at the exclusively luxurious 3-bedroom Villa Mutiara for 6 persons.  

The Villa Mutiara is a one-of-its-kind estate in the resort. Sitting snugly between a mangrove lagoon and located at the distant tip of a rocky tail between two coves, this 3-bedroom villa is a true sanctuary that offers complete privacy for its guests, enchanted with a scenic 330-degree view of the ocean with the hush greeneries of the rainforest on its back.

Guests will be chauffeured from the Langkawi International Airport to the resort in a prestigious Rolls-Royce car. Met with champagne and unique anniversary welcome amenities upon arrival, they can skip the queue and check-in privately straight to their opulent lodging.

All six guests will also be treated to the aforementioned 5-course gastronomic dining experience with Executive Chef Mattia himself at the helm, preceded by in-villa pre-dinner cocktails served daily. On top of that, there will also be a specifically curated in-villa surprise Green Egg Experience dinner, which we’ve been told is a delectable barbeque with the Rolls-Royce of BBQ stoves. 

Of course, it only gets better from here. The premium staycation package also includes a 60-minute relaxation massage for 6 pax at the award-winning The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi Spa housed in their famed cocoon-shaped spa pavilions, and a private sunrise kayak or paddle boarding in the serene waters of the Andaman Sea.

To top off this superluxe experience, guests can enjoy a hassle-free getaway with a 24-hour dedicated butler service, along with personalised embroidered bath towels that will be theirs to take home.

And finally, in truly commemorating the 5th anniversary milestone, the package includes one (1) limited edition 5th Anniversary Gold Bar specially crafted for The Ritz-Carlton Langawi by award-winning jeweller, Habib Jewels.
