At Accor, we are constantly pushing the boundaries of design and technology to enhance the guest experience. The Transforming Room is a groundbreaking research initiative that allows us to observe and understand how guests interact within a multi-functional space. This insight is invaluable as we continue to innovate and create environments that adapt to the diverse and evolving needs of our guests, ensuring Pullman remains at the cutting edge of hospitality design.

During the day, the Murphy bed is tucked neatly within its discreet storage wall, but at the end of the day, housekeeping helps to lower it, getting guests ready to slumber. Guests can adjust functions through the app to ensure a satisfying sleep experience, this includes switching off the video screen, sliding shut the blackout curtains, and even engaging a series of scents from the COMPOZ parfum module to ensure a deep sleep.

Morning time in the Transforming Room is equally mesmerising. Through a simple touch of a button, guests can start their day with the curtains sliding open to let natural sunlight in. A playlist of scents can also be distributed throughout the day using the app. The app also offers a range of fitness and mindfulness sessions by PELOTON and Digital Art by ARTPOINT. The room’s flexible design allows for easy transformation into a wellness space, where guests can follow guided workouts on the large in-room screen. Additionally, the room’s modular interiors can be reconfigured to create a private dining area, perfect for romantic dinners, social gatherings, or business lunches.

Since it was founded, Pullman has always been the place where business and lifestyle merge. Today we call this Blended Travel. It is the space where different purposes and perspectives come together. This is the legacy of the Pullman brand and the blueprint for the Transforming Room. If we want our time to be transformative, the space around us should be too.
