Di’a Spa – a tranquil sanctuary surrounded by the calming sounds of the ocean and nature – has finally been launched at TA’AKTANA, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Labuan Bajo. The name “Di’a” brings the meaning of “Beauty” and “You”, and it reflects the belief that true beauty comes from within the individual. It also aligns with Flores Island’s culture and tradition rooted in wellness.
As soon as guests step foot onto the Di’a Spa, they are immediately transported to a world of serenity. The spa is thoroughly designed to give guests the utmost relaxation just from being there. To start, the design is influenced by the Rangko and Batu Cermin Caves, incorporating natural elements such as stalactites, stalagmites, ancient coral, and turtle fossils. Every inch of the spa is designed to exude a calming atmosphere, from the lounge area to the treatment rooms. The use of soft, dim lighting that is not harsh to the eye, paired with a gentle melody reminiscent of the still turquoise waters surrounding the resort – every aspect of the spa is taken into consideration to prioritise both physical and spiritual relaxation and rejuvenation.

The Di’a Spa also offers treatment packages, such as the Di’a Ritual for Two, which is catered to couples. The experience starts at the Royal Spa Suite, where couples are able to enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating experience with multiple curated treatments and pampering sessions. In between, the couples are allowed to refresh their senses in Whirlpool Baths before going on to indulge in the Signature Four Hands Body Massage, promising a complete, full-body revitalising spa experience.
Another interesting treatment is the Hygge Harmony Scent Hair Treatment. This unique hair treatment is created by Ao Lado, known as Korea’s first scent artist. The treatment is a combination of Ao Lado’s expertise in scents and Hygge Spa’s techniques. With the use of particular herbs and botanicals to nourish the scalp and hair, merged together with an expert selection of scents to create a calming effect in the air, this hair treatment is surely a one-of-a-kind experience that guests must try for themselves.
Di’a Spa offers a retail space where guests can buy a variety of products, such as Kastara Natural products that were used throughout the spa’s treatments. Other goodies that are available include exquisite candles, bath and body essentials, Ayurvedic treatments, and calming reed diffusers. In this way, guests do not necessarily have to leave their indulgent experiences behind at the spa as they leave the resort, rather, they can buy the products they wish and bring a piece of that experience home.
