Dassault graced the Selangor Aviation Show from the 12th to the 14th of September 2024 by displaying the Falcon 8X in all its glory. Dassault, the global leader in business aviation, has over 8 Falcon aircraft based in Malaysia, making it the company’s largest market in Southeast Asia for business jets.

At 11,945 kilometres, the well-proven Falcon 8X is a well-established ultra-long-range business jet. The aircraft can easily and comfortably fly from Kuala Lumpur to Cape Town, Auckland and Honolulu.

Falcon 8X

The Falcon 8X is one of the most fuel-efficient aircraft in its class, combining cutting-edge aerodynamics with powerful engines for smooth transcontinental flying. The Falcon 8X has additional innovations which improve the aircraft’s performance, comfort and safety. The Dassault Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) reduces pilot workloads and provides precise handling by incorporating Dassault’s military expertise.

For unmatched situational awareness, the Falcon 8X is equipped with a FalconEye combined vision system, technology derived from the fighter plane Rafale’s vision system. The Falcon 8X is able to accommodate up to 19 passengers without any problems with its roomy and cosy interior.

The Falcon 8X can access airports with shorter runways like Kerteh and Lahad Datu airports due to its short takeoff and landing capabilities. Furthermore, the aircraft can land with 85% of its maximum weight during takeoff. After refuelling at their home base, passengers can make a quick hop before starting a lengthier journey that will take them around 4600 nautical miles.
